I can say no as I planted corn. Corn OB is still TBD BTW.

Love the COB.

Attention all golfers !

The Pelican team will be scouting over the next 3 weeks in Ettyville.
Show us your stuff ... show us how aggressive you can be ... show us you wanna play on Team Pelican !

At this moment , there will be 2 spots opened on the team.

It's a challenge for you out there , bring it !

Thanks Eric

This HAS to go down as one of the most awesome call outs ever posted on this forum.

And the fine show of immediate interest that followed was nice, too!

PMP laughing. The COB.
Finally, after years of training wheels on Ettyville, the relatively open-air sOyBean is cast into the rotation bin, and we now face the prospect of a truly gruesome threat to your score and your inventory.

Corn is easier to find your disc.

I think it's also easier to land it in there. smile

Out of bounds:

There are two considerations for O/B tonight, both on Hole 18.

1. The ditch in front of the green. If your disc comes to rest inside the long grass that defines the ditch, you are O/B.

2. In or over the long grass scharb on the right side of the fairway and green.

Follow the PDGA rules for O/B in either case.

* Long throws into the field beyond the green are NOT out of bounds.

I thought the traditional OB line was the long grass on the green side of the driveway. I don't remember the driveway ever being OB. I would not recommend tweaking the OBs just for TOSS. Play it as it usually is. The field beyond 18 green has always been OB

Driveway has never been OB.

There's no easy line to distinguish the green ending and the field starting on back of 18 green as the crops aren't up. I don't think it a huge deal where the basket is.

I pm'd Mark about the driveways on 18.

Then use the green-side edge of the driveway.....getting an upshot onto that driveway is a pretty key shot on that hole

I was only trying to discuss "the field beyond 18 green". I don't expect the driveways to be OB. I pm'd Mark and we'll wait for his edits's/clarification.

The traditional O/B line is the long grass on the far side of the driveway. I thought this might make things slightly more interesting for tonight, considering that none of the other traditional O/Bs are in play...

The driveway itself being dirt and grass does not really have a defined line either.....

i think tweaking is hokey, not interesting. Plus it does nothing to help players learn to play the course

Okay, okay. It appears as though I ruffled a few feathers with the O/B. It's fixed, and back to the "traditional" O/B now.

I think it went south on you when you tried to act like it was a interesting tweak you thought up as opposed to a simple oversight. big grin

If anyone is wondering there is a 40% chance it rains 1mm in Bourget tonight. In other words its not going to rain, so come on out.
