Stace, Spike (maybe because I do not know your name), and Gavin, can you please go to the ODSA website and create a login and join the ODGC group. Anyone else who may be planning on showing up and is not on the ODSA list (see 1/2 down the link below), please do so.

instructions are here http://www.odgc.ca/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9819

So Steve will need to sign a waiver and pay the $8 for the odsa membership/insurance or become a current ODGC member.

Um, if anyone is reading this, do you have directions to the Alcove?

Address for Google maps/GPS usage; 44 chemin Echo Dale, la Pêche, QC

Get on Highway 5 as if you were heading to Camp Fortune but don’t exit at Old Chelsea,
instead continue until the end of HWY 5 where there is a T intersection with a set of lights turn left on to HWY 105N.

Stay on this highway (the 105 north), until the next big intersection (they are few and far between on this road, in case you miss it, you'll see a Giant Tiger on the right).
Turn right at that intersection and go down the hill into the pretty village of Wakefield.

At the bottom of said hill, you will come to another T-intersction, go left. Stay on this road,
it will take you through the village. On the far side of the village there is another intersection, go straight, heading north, still following the Maniwaki signs. (The course is about a 6 minute drive from this intersection).

You're back on the 105 heading north and the highway eventually splits into a four-lane and up ahead, looming on the left, you will see a massive sandpit. Turn left onto the dirt road (Chemin Echo Dale) when you get to the pit. Stacie's driveway is the first driveway on the right, which is half a click from the highway.

It is a long driveway, and you can't see the house until the end of the driveway
(if you have 4 wheel drive you might like to use it now). Park when you get to the house.

Congratulations to Andros on taking first place at the Mudslide.

As always, it's a pleasure and privilege to play on the card with the tournament winner in the final round, and witness them taking care of business with solid play, sane course management and an unflappable demeanor in response to the little ups and downs that 18 holes of disc golf will throw at you.

Thanks to Claus for TDing, Stacey for hosting, and to each player who came out to compete. With the fine weather, it was an absolutely great day.

Alcove is one of the top disc golf courses you could hope to ever play.

Thanks all, that was as much fun as I've had at Alcove to date.

The conditions were perfect, the people were awesome and the course was playing great.

Big thank you to Claus for TDing and Stace for hosting the after round shindig at her spectacular new pad.
