Dogs have been welcome to Alcove in the past so unless Stacie says otherwise my answer is yes.

Back to life here.

Are dogs allowed at the course.

there are sometimes cattle on the course. If the dog is prone to chasing live stock then leave it at home

Nope just chuck-it balls.

Yes and no.....crossbow for deer is still open but rifle season closed the second sunday of november. black powder season is only the third week of november.

Upland game birds and waterfowl is still open, but that is shotgun work and not really a dnager to us as if we were that close to the hunter they would be aware we were there

the only risk is during deer rifle season when an errant shot across an open field can be dangerous

Yeah, it looks like Zone 10 is only open to small game hunting (which includes wolf and coyotes).

I wonder if someone shooting at him would hurry Claus up or make him even slower?

The only date range on there extending to December is zone 20 (which is an island i think)
Alcove is in zone 10W so I think we're ok.

Hey everyone.

Would it be possible for me to catch ride on Saturday with anyone? It would be great, and help with as little parked cars as possible up at the alcove.

I can make a gas contribution or pay for your entry...

I have been asked to move the start time for Alcove from 12 noon to 11 am.
(This has been OK'd by Stacie)

Please be at Alcove by at least 10:50am to allow time for registration.

Thank you.

Hard to say, I usually bring my ribboning gear and decide on-site.

That being said I usually try and hold out putting ribbons on until it's a foot deep.

Dogs are fine- but if they poop in the yard the owner needs to pick up its waste. Once we're out back, its ok to let it be.

Good shootin by everyone, and good shootin potential indeed.

On 12, both OMR and I threw into the large spruce tree short, right of the plateau, and managed to flush a grouse when looking for our discs...

Mercifully partner Gavin bailed me out with a nice drive onto the green at 12...

For those interested; bonus points were given out at the Alcove outing
as there was 2-4 inches of snow on the course.

I took some pictures too which I will post when I get home. thumbsup
