Ottawa's Ice League continues this weekend
Sat. Nov 19th, 2011 at a special temp layout near Mountain, ON.

This is a unique layout played on a dead end rural street around the
mountain boyz properties and their incredibly nice neighbors.

THINGS TO KNOW:

I will be taking registration and running Ice Putt at 11:30am at HQ
and we will be starting up promptly at noon.

DIRECTIONS TO THE COURSE:

HWY 416: Take the 416 south to the Kemptville (HWY 43) exit.
Turn left on HWY 43 heading eastbound and continue for ~12km
at which point you will take a right onto HWY 1.
Continue on HWY 1 across the railroad tracks then take a right onto
Simms Rd. then an immediate left onto Ronson Rd.
Travel to the end of Ronson Rd. then into the last driveway on your left.

From Albion Rd: Take Albion Rd. south to Stagecoach Rd.
At the end of Stagecoach take a left onto HWY 43 at which point
you will take a right onto HWY 1.
Continue on HWY 1 across the railroad tracks then take a right onto
Simms Rd. then an immediate left onto Ronson Rd.
Travel to the end of Ronson Rd. then into the last driveway on your left.

The street address is: 10254 Ronson Rd.

Hope to see you all out here on Saturday!

I was out there this weekend and this is an IL event you don't want to miss.

thumbsup A Club House
thumbsup Exterior Speakers
thumbsup Bonfire
thumbsup Ponds
thumbsup 9 holes - 2 tees
thumbsup A DG Neighbourhood Community!
thumbsup A New Mountain Experience in the FALL!

Some solid holes out there. You won't be dissapointed.

This sounds too cool to be true. I enjoy throwing from the same tee pad at the same metal object with the same plastic. But when you introduce a new property in a new geographic area in the middle of November my ears perk up. Way to go boyz, I will do my very best to be there. I have 2 portables and a third in Drazens trunk if they are needed.

Question? If start is noon sharp, what time do you think the round will finish approximately? i.e. is this a par 72 or 54 layout?

Not necessary as the course already has 9 baskets in place.

I'd say its a par 56-57 and can't see us finishing after 4pm more than likely 3:30pm.

This is the scale for the map Andros shows in the 2nd post... and in Geoff's post above as well...

I was curious about the hole lengths, so figured I'd save anyone else with the same questions some effort...

Man, I wish I had a DG course that winded it's way through my neighbourhood and could invite players over for a round, beer and pizza.

No need to pre-reg. just come on out.

I only took reg. #s for CF for taking baskets off the hill.
