The Plaid Jacket 2011 Divisions

The Plaid Jacket Division ($65/$60)

The Open Division. This division is for the more competitive golfers in the region and is open to all who wish to play. They will play Yellow/Yellow tees. There is no payout, just the jacket.

The Women's Division ($50/$45)

The only gender specific division at The Plaid. The winner will be a Plaid Jacket Champion. They will play Blue/Blue.

The AM Division ($50/$45)

The AM division (also known as AM2) is a competitive division for golfers who want to enjoy The Plaid Experience on a course designed for their skill level. An ODGC Member with a handicap >10 might be considering this division. They will play Blue/Blue.

The Recreation Division ($50/$45)

The Rec division (also known as AM3) is for the first year player or the developing player. You can play some wicked holes, watch some good golfers and take in The Plaid Experience for the first (or second...or third) time. They will play Blue/Blue.

You pick which division you wish to play in and I'll slot you in. Twirly will recognize the best players that day, in each division.

Plaid Jacket 2011 Rules

No food or drink brought into the country club.

No Cleats.

Sand traps should be avoid but raked if entered.

Greens are O.B. and to be avoided. (Do not to throw thumbers or spike hyzers around greens)

Water Traps are O.B. Your disc can be retrieved without entering the water.

Disc marks must be replaced/fixed.

Carts are to stay on the cart path or driven 90 degree across the fairways.

Frost – We are not able to be on the course at all until the frost is gone. This means no walking the course or warming on the grass. This is very important; walking on the grass will damage it. Starting time may be delayed in the case of frost.

The RE/MAX Super 6!

S1 - There's a neat little teepad along side of the building and it forces a more technical drive. Basket stays the same.

S2 - A longer Plaid5 with the basket moved to other side of the pond.

S3 - Old 5, new 7 Yellow pad, going to 8 basket. May need a mando, but maybe not. We could use a cart.

S4 - Same as last year, except off the WBT like for Yellow players on Plaid9.

S5 - The super water hole that we planned last year, but didn't materialize.

S6 - Plaid 16. The way it is.

When you arrive at The Canadian Golf and Country Club, please park in one of the two parking lots (one is paved and the other gravel).

You will see the Clubhouse from the parking lots. The Plaid Jacket Tournament Central will be in the white tented area at the back.

Washrooms, bar, restaurant, pro shop are all in the Clubhouse. You will rent your cart in the Clubhouse and take your receipt to the Cart Shop to pick up your cart.

Registration opens at 8 am. Register at Tournament Central.
