A match played late doesn't count WTF - Rolly - Your rules are unclear and they suck IMO. Are you telling everyone that they are wasting their time playing matchs that won't be counted for anything.

laughing laughing laughing laughing too funny.

All matches must be completed prior to the last day of the schedule.
All players shall play a minimum of six (6) matches.
Matches shall be designated to be played according to a specific month during the schedule.
Players must make every effort to play their designated matches before the end of the assigned month. Where a match is not completed prior to the end of the designated month it can be played late, and will be entered into the standings when the player has completed their entire 6 game schedule. If a player misses a game due to dog dying, almost cut finger off, wife gives birth, kid is sick, etc that's cool. Make it up when you can. If a player misses a match due to laziness or something along those lines, they have to play the game late, finish the schedule, then the points will count.

COpy and pasted from my the rules that suck.

So my match partners and I had good reasons for missing (Stacie was unavailable and I believe Mark A was injured but what ever).

You say "that's cool, make it up when you can" - However as it stands it was a waste of time playing those matchs. Your rules.

1st. Being Unavailable is not an excuse. Being Unavailable implies, I’d rather watch sports on TV to I have to save the Earth from an Asteroid, and all inbetween.
Atos was injured, you missed the game….As it says in the rules, you got to let me know this stuff when it happens, Im not going to go looking for excuses of missed games for you guys, and I don’t have ESP.

“”You say "that's cool, make it up when you can" - However as it stands it was a waste of time playing those matchs. Your rules””

I have no idea what your talking about, but ill try….

1st of all your quoting me mid sentence…..dont.
If you have a valid excuse why you cant play the match ie, your Twirly and you almost cut your finger off,(anyone not truly) your wifes mom suddenly dies, your kid has some crazy disease, the police mistakingly raid your house and think its your neighbours meth lab, etc…you can make the game up when you like. Injuries are included in this as it’s a reasonable excuse, and really I would take most excuses as reasonalble, and have

If you have no excuse (that is reasonable) then it’s a missed game, and for the missed game to count follow the instructions posted above. Not telling me why a game is missed will also put the missed match into this category as I assume no one is to blame for the missed match nor is there a excuse why it was not played.

wouldn't it be simpler for you (Rolly) to track by just saying here are your 6 matches.

You have until Sept 01 to get them played.

Pm me with results as they come in.

Just seems so much simpler....what is the rationale for trying to keep to a schedule when many people struggle to get the match in that month?

I don't care and I am not arguing (See Rule #1). Just trying to figure out what the value added by strictly keeping to the schedule is.

So if I were to miss my April Match without a "good" excuse, but got all my other matches played I would be scored zero for the season? Is that right?

Nope. Thankfully, I didn't have to play Gobbles until August (though I started the push in May).

{Edit: Fixed answer from "Yup" to "Nope"}

Yup. Thankfully, I didn't have to play Gobbles until August (though I started the push in May).

Seems kinda punitive and arbitrary. What's the point of the whole 4 of 6 to make the playoffs?

You could also consider it as a reward or incentive for those that do arrange their schedules properly.

I get that. But I don't get how I could play 5 matches, but fail to get my april match in (I was dedicated enough to get 5 of 6 as the schedule dictated) and as a result I don't make the playoffs.

How does that make sense?

I have no comment on this side of the league/schedule, but this was discussed at the beginnning of the season.

So i have not played Cyle (July) but did play Atos (August)

Cyle and I just haven't found time

So if I don't play Cyle, then my match with Atos doesn't count?

It does not make sense, becuase your given a wrong answer.

Read and Apply:

------------------
Games played on time count, missed games count once the schedule is completed.

I don’t know where your getting this “I missed my 1st match so nothing counts” theory. Thas just retarded

Just trying to understand
