USDGC Qualifier (a player will be qualify for the USDGC form the CC)

Does this mean that the winner of the open division will win a spot at the USDGC?

I believe it will go to the person who best improves their PDGA rating.

does all the division have a shot at this place or only open and what happen if you were not a pdga member before?

Yes this is for all divisions Beny. I will find out the answer on you pdga question, but my guess is you would have to be a current member and have a rating.

Yup. Pro-Masters please. But here's a question; Is it the round rating I receive (and subsequently compare to my pdga rating) influenced by the size of the field? i.e. if I come middle of a pack of 15 (i.e. 8th) would my round rating be the same as coming 2nd in a pack of 3?

River:

As far as I know, the field size does not change your round rating. It's all about how well you fare vs. a scratch player. Shoot scratch, and you've got a 1000 rated round.

NVM, my previous post is wrong...

PDGA wrote:
The scores thrown by propagators each round are used to calculate the SSA rating for a specific course layout. A propagator is a current member whose rating is over 799 and is based on at least 8 rounds. As long as there are 5 propagators playing a course layout, ratings can be calculated. The average rating of all propagators will equal the average rating they get for the round – always. If the same course layout is used more than one round, the scores from multiple rounds will be used to determine an overall SSA, as long as the individual round SSAs come out close to each other, so everyone gets the same rating for the same score on the same course. If the SSAs are significantly different, likely due to varying wind conditions, the round ratings will be calculated separately. If a propagator shoots more than 60 points below their rating, their score will not be used in the SSA calculations.

You will be playing the same tees as the Open field and the AM 1 field. You'll be "compared" to all of them as well as your Pro-Masters field.

Lunch will now be available for purchase on Sunday.

Please let me know if you would like a delicious sammie, so that I can prepare adequately. (There will be no nuts or fish) All proceeds will go to the Club.

Aight, so my previous plans have been cancelled.

Please register me for AM3, if there's enough players.

I would like to exercise the lunch option, please. Holly, is it possible to ensure there's no dairy/cheese in mine?

Thanks!
