It seems to me as though the tee times as posted could result in the Hole 9 Starts having to wait for the Hole 2 starts. i.e., if Adam or Shane wins 9 short and 1 short with birdies, there's a possibility that they'll be at the hole 2 tee by 9:17, and potentially waiting for Stefan and I to finish hole 2. For better flow, can I make the suggestion that the start times be reversed, such that Hole 2 starts are at 9:00 and 9:10, and the Hole 9 starts are 9:05 and 9:15?

Just a suggestion.

This is a pretty accurate reflection of how live players meeting go.

First Round will be Kanata Shorts. Holes numbered 3, 4, and 8 will be “island” holes. Paint and flags will be used to mark the edge of the islands. If you end up in the rough behind any of the holes you are safe and you just have to fight out of the thorny jail.
Does this cover all rough? For example, from 3 Long, if a throw from the tee is grip-locked into the rough before the "corner" around which the island sits, is that throw in-bounds and playable? Or does the grace area of the rough only exist directly "behind" the islands?

Your opponent may also pick your disc up and concede a hole.
Can a verbal concession of the hole also be made, or must the opponents disc be picked up?

All rough is IB.

Yes verbal concessions can be made. Physical gestures can also be used to declare that you have conceded the hole and the other player may pick up his disc. Morse Code, telegrams and smoke signals may not be used however.

Just to clarify a distinction:

Putts are conceded.

This does not necessarily mean that the hole is conceded. It just speeds things up, and declares to your opponent that his score really should be no more than his current lie plus one.

Making public "suggestions" is not the way to solve problems. Please use the PM feature for communications like this with the TD.

The time difference is there to ensure that people on #9 are aware of the card on #2. There is a method to the madness, even if you don't see it.
