It's time to get the 2011 Tuesday League underway,
and we're going to start the season with
TOSS 2011 [1] / QB Challenge 1.1
May 3rd
at The Shire.
All disc golfers are welcome!
Tournament Central is the garage, and
The round starts at 6:15.
BE AT THE SHIRE BY 6:00PM TO REGISTER!
Fees are $5
Shire Greenfees are $5
Exact change appreciated.
This week's TD: Paul Bourgeois

Details about TOSS 2011 [1]:
  • The field is open to a maximum of 27 players. Pre-register to guarantee your spot!
  • 100% of your shire greenfees for this event go towards the Capital Classic 2011 fund. For details about the Capital Classic, Click Here!
  • Directions to The Shire: From the 417, take Carp Rd Exit North off the Queensway. Turn Left at lights on to Richardson Side. Go to the end, at the stop sign turn Right on to Beavertail. Go to the end and left on to Old Amonte Rd. The Shire is at 3489 Old Amonte Rd. look for the Baskets on the right side. Count on 50 minutes from downtown Ottawa given traffic on the highway recently.
  • There isn't going to be enough daylight to start after 6:15. Allow time for traffic in your commute to the Shire.
  • This event takes place at the Ultimate Disc Golf Store warehouse: You'll be in one of the best places in Canada to pick up all of the plastic that you need for a great season of great disc golf.
  • If you haven't paid for your 2011 ODGC membership yet, Andrew Vallee will be collecting your fees / dues at the Shire. Show up early and find Andrew to get your memebrship taken care of before you complete your registration for TOSS.

Special thanks to Rob Wormald and the Ultimate Disc Golf Store for helping us start the season in excellent fashion.
Props again to Rob Wormald for rolling the green fees for this event into the Capital Classic fund!

If you don't enjoy having to look around for a $5 bill before heading to the course on Tuesday...

If one of your goals is to attend almost all of the Tuesday events this season...

If you find lining up to register is a drag...

If you like to show up at the course and register for the event by giving the TD and nod and a wave...

You'll be able to purchase a TOSS 2011 Season Pass on Tuesday!

A Seasons Pass costs $75, is available to current ODGC members, and it covers your Tuesday fees for the entire season (private course green fees are not included in your season pass).

Preregistration is now open!

PM or post to get on the list.

Attending so far:
  • Paul Bourgeois
  • Andrew Vallee
  • Holly DeCoste
  • Cyle Prange
  • Shane Kilpatrick
  • Jeff Lariviere
  • Carl Visser
  • Geoff Penton
  • Mark Atos
  • Craig Pinches
  • Serge Seguin
  • Steve Crane
  • David McLeod
  • Ben Svetkoff
  • Jon Soles
15 preregistered so far, and I expect Rob is going to want to play as well. I'll close preregistration around 3:00 today.

Thanks to everyone that takes the time to preregister. Committing to the event in this way saves time and gets us all on the course faster!

Preregistration will be very important if traffic due to the concert at the SBP becomes an issue. Don't get left out!

Please note that in addition to your TOSS registration fee, there is a $5 greenfee payable to The Shire. I will be collecting this greenfee from everyone on Tuesday, so your registration will be a total of $10 this week.

Rob Wormald has decided to roll this week's The Shire Greenfee into the Capital Classic fund, so your attendance at this event is a show of support for the Capital Classic 2011.

If I get a ride, I am in.

Pickup at Tunnery's Pasture or around.

NOT looking forward to more rain, but your fine company should make it worth.

I am in. Will hopefully have tower clearance tonight.

Remember, there is a Bon Jovi concert tomorrow night at Scotiabank. It might be busier than normal (aka like a Sens game night).

PEACH
