Bingo! Why would I want the first loser.

But the first loser of the PC race last year is our captain... big grin

King of the Oonie 2009 at Flat Mountain. I didn't take too much video that day so I added some Fortune and Rideau Acres at the end.

Untitled from Fisholm on Vimeo.

The quality is HD if you view it directly from Vimeo.

Hmm, interesting discussion developed.... Wink

I have no plans to be in Ottawa at that time. Sad
Unless somebody here wins lottery and pays me the ticket...

Of course I still have the touch, how can you doubt that?! Wink
But I have to admit my touch is at times quite off.... Sad
Still, there is (_VERY_) remote chance that it will reappear for a few moments during the Ooonie, just to fuel discussions like this (and to piss off Rolly).

I must have missed the online player's meeting. Anyway, I will be in Kanata on Saturday morning ... public transport still works, or perhaps somebody might give me a lift...?!

Looking forward to some nice golfing, but, oh man, the weather here is really pissy!

Will he be in town that date?

Probably not. I'll ask him if he shows.

He'll probably claim he does but said himself that he only plays 5 times a year.

... and it stayed at the same place. Well done, Andros.

Big thanks to Ben for organizing a very pleasant a relaxed tournament. The weather was perfect, the company was small but very fine.

I played as if I played the second time this year, so I did not even reach the finals - at least I won the oonies part.

The day was beautiful and ripe for more golf, so five of us stayed playing wolf. That turned out mightly fine, as I won the $$$. Smile

Claus and Roxie showed up as well - I am hoping to see more of you tomorrow at Camp Fortune and Tuesday at Shire.

Congrats, Andrew! Not even Roxie has picked his own spot for the Pelican!

Congrats Andros. Great clutch performance in our OT battle, and great job in the final.

Stefan, it was nice meeting you and that was a fun skins match. You were definitely the better golfer in that match and I don't think I deserved the 5-5 finish.

Thanks Ben for running a very enjoyable tournament. Great weather and great company are hard to beat.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

It was no cakewalk, it was a hard fought victory.

I'd like to thank Ben for TDing a great tournament
and Penton for going to an out of town tournament. sly wink

Also a big thanks to everyone who came out to play the
Oonie on a beautiful sunny day. Matchplay is a great format,
it forces you to attack the course and be a clutch golfer.

I came ready to defend, and I did.

Thanks to all those who competed and congratulations To Andrew who played well and made quick work of the competition to retain the crown. Hopefully a fun time was had by all.

Some great drama in the results:

Andrew and Shane, two members of last year's pelican team, face off in a final round death match. Congrats, Andrew!

Rob Ducette sends Rolly for the early exit, and later kicks him out of the Loonie round!

Stefan manages to cash. Nice work, Euro!

Great job Andros. You played an almost perfect round in the finals. It would have been tough for anyone to beat you. Putting was unbelievable

The King of the Oonie 2011

PLACE PLAYER PC Points
1 Vallee
2 Kilpatrick

3 Doucette
3 Dobrev

5 Svetkoff

5 Rowland

5 Crupi

5 Atoss

Is this correct? If so, why are there so many tied for 5th? Atos and Rowland both had 1 win, Crupi and Svet., had none.

Should it not read:

1 Vallee
2 Kilpatrick

3 Doucette
3 Dobrev

5 Atoss
5 Rowland

7Crupi
7Svetkoff

I assume Euro and duece tied for there skins round?
