I'm stoked. Although, working four jobs now, it's going to be hard to get time to commit. I'm starting to work my magic, though.

Can someone who is familiar with the OD Tour inform me of PDGA rules that the OD Tour doesn't follow, or rules that are unique to the OD Tour? Ettyville is coming up.

I already know the water isn't OB rule.

They are much less stringent on gimmies. If it is drop in it is often just picked up and given back by whoever is last to head to the basket.

Disc flipping occurs at times (say in the shnarb) and isn't tightly enforced either

I saw many many foot fouls and informed the players but never penalized anyone

I heard they aren't playing with the new Holing Out Rule? Are they following the new PDGA rule book changes, or are they using an older book? Are the rule differences (between OD vs. PDGA) explained in the player's meeting, or is it something I should become familiar with outside of the P'sM?

I know the OD Tour's position with regards to the PDGA, so I need a bit of a tutorial on the allowances/strictnesses.

Not an issue. Thanks.

Is this a personal thing or an event thing (meaning, did you not penalize them because of your own choice, or does this not get called?)?

Just play by the rules and you will be fine. No one is going to call you for anything. In open the rules are more enforced than any other division.

Feel free to call foot faults but other than that you shouldn't need to worry. I used my mini and marked my lie whenever I moved my disc.

They are using the new PDGA rules but I heard a putter went through the side of the basket and got counted. This might be something to bring up at the players meeting, or just ask Kelly before the start of the rounds and let him address it in the players meeting.

Branches in front of the lie were moved as is allowed
