BET OMPL
There are 2 games to be played
1.
Pick the winner:
The way this game works is easy, all you have to do is pick the winner of a division.

All bets are taken and money is pooled into a pot. The OMPL and ODGC takes 5% each of the pot for fundraising. Leftover is 90% of the pot.
Once a winner is decided the pot is paid out to the people who chose the winner based on the amount bet, relative to the others that also bet for the winner.
For example.
There is 120$ in the pot. And “Player A” wins the event.

Person 1—Bets 2$
Person 2—Bets 4$
Person 3—Bets 6$
All bet on Player A.

The pot is then distributed amongst the 3 persons based on the ratio that they wagered.
The total bet on Player A was 12$. Person 3 bet ½ of that total so they win ½ of the pot (60$0.
Person 2 who bet 4$ out of the 12$ wins 1/3 of the pot or 40$
Person 3 who bet 2$ out of the 12$ wins 1/6th of the pot or 20$

I’ll do my best to post odds on a nightly basis to update the pool.
If no one picks a winner, then the pot will be split 50-50 between the OMPL and the ODGC.

Min Bet is 2$, but for each bet of 5$ you can place a 1$ bet on someone. For example,
Player 1 2$
Player 2 2$
Player 3 1$
Total of 5$

And the second game is:
Progressive Jack Pot.

In this game you have to pick what players will shoot the 3 lowest scores at the end of the day, in order.
All bets are taken, then the ODGC and the OMPL will take 7.5% each as a fundraiser.
Each set of picks (1st 2nd 3rd) will cost only 2$.
If someone picks 1st 2nd and 3rd they will win the pot, or share it with another person who has the exact same picks.
If no one wins this pot, it is carried over to the next event that BET OMPL will be attending.

All bets are kept confidential, as to who bet what on who.
PM me your bets all week, and $$ will be collected the morning of the event.

If the person you bet on does does not start the event, then your $$ will be refunded.

This is a great way to pay your bills, and support the OMPL and the ODGC, place some money down today big grin

Rolly 9/1
Penton 4.5/1
Andrew Vallee 9/1
Shane Kilpatrick 4.5/1
Claus 4.5/1
Carl Visser 4.5/1

What the above means is that for every dollar that is currently bet on Penton for example you would win 4.5$ back.

No on e has bet on the rest of the field. The #'s above represent the current prize pool one who has already bet . so If I bet 1$ on you, I would get 9 back. In other words names not listed no one has bet on, you would be the only one, and win the entire pot if you remain the only one.

Is the payout based on what the odds are when you place the bet, or on the odds when betting closes at some future date?

The odds are always moving. Think if it as really buying shares of a pool.

Rolly,

If I understand correctly, the 2nd game is betting who will ride the shortest bus on Saturday? Is it throughout everyone competing or just the open players? Because if it is everyone competing, can I pick myself for last? Lol

Betting lot of money on yourself is one explanation.
