I've yet to eat there but the menu looks good.

It's a good choice. I used to work in the area and it was a regular Friday lunch stop. Good beer and good food (Mow burger in particular is quite good). The food there is WAY better than O'Connors, or Local Heroes.

I've started scouting locations for the Ice Auction/After party and believe I have settled on a location;

The Barley Mow Pub | 700 March Road, Kanata

Unfortunately I've tried to book the Mow and got rejected apparently someone has booked it for a wedding party. disgusted

Serves me right for waiting for so long to get appropriate numbers but alas that's how the cookie crumbles.

Does anyone in Kanata know of another suitable location?

What about the Royal Oak on March road?

Wasn't me, I'm not getting married.

The Oak on march is a great 2nd choice.

Thanks Claus.

I'll head over to the Oak on Sunday and check it out.

And if all goes well make the reservation too.
