Quote:
The Champion Roc3 is a fast, straight Roc that excels at controlled approaches and Mid-Range drives. The Roc3 holds a line in a variety of wind conditions and has a predictable fade, making this an ideal 'Go-To' Mid-Range in almost any situation. Advanced players will love the versatility of this disc while newer players can rely on the consistent finish.

Honestly, how many types of Rocs are there out there?

Ontario, Rancho, Ching, USDGC, Pro, Roc+...

Lots of Rocs out there, too many IMO but this ones sounds like one for Roxie to use in the winter.

The Roc3 is a Speed 5. Regular Rocs are Speed 4. sarcastic eye roll

I wonder if they named it something else would it sell as well? Wonder if you could visually tell the difference?

So the search on Innova's site continues. They have a new Starlite Roadrunner. sarcastic eye roll Did a Google search for "starlite plastic" and got this from Wikipedia:

Quote:
Starlite is a material claimed to be able to withstand and insulate from extremes of heat. It was invented by amateur chemist Maurice Ward (1933-2011) during the 1970s and 1980s, and received much publicity in 1993 thanks to coverage on the science and technology show Tomorrow's World. The name Starlite was coined by Ward's granddaughter Kimberly.

Apparently it can take a nuclear shock. Think the Roadrunner can too?

I wish I was good enough that Innova (or Discraft) would send me a demo disc every time a new one came out. My wife wouldn't love it as much...

Lots; http://www.marshallstreetdiscgolf.com/media/flightguide.html

It seems to be the most popular speed for a midrange.

Cadmium and starlite. Holy cow! And they told me Discraft would give me cancer!

This would explain some things.

CE discs always showed up on the baggage screening x-ray, and understandably, a quick explanation of disc golf would take place. All other discs remained almost invisible.

After a whole 30 seconds of searching I didn't find the thread bashing inconsistency of Destroyers. But do keep your eyes out as there is a relatively new run of Destroyers with a new top on them. It is the Chaos/PD2 top. While it doesn't make for the world's worst disc, it isn't a Destroyer. I found one in my stash and was not happy mad

Well hidden in the "Top Pro's leaving sponsors" thread.

Why call it a Destroyer then? F#cking Innova.

I'll be interested to throw this misnomer of a disc. The PD2 is considered to be a faster slightly beefier XCal (XC bottom with a Discmania top.) I have no use for it probably, but it could be a huge distance disc for people with the right arm speed.
