Hey guys and gals,

I decided to make a new post about this so the regular OD SH post doesn't get all bogged down.

These are possible meals during the weekend:

Friday

Breakfast and lunch - individually, on the road

Dinner - at lodge

Saturday

Breakfast - Eggs, lotsa bacon, hash browns, toast

Lunch - Mike's chili or lodge delivery

Dinner - Steaks, corn, baked potato, salad

Sunday

Breakfast - Eggs, lotsa bacon, hash browns, toast

Lunch - Mike's chili or lodge delivery

Dinner - ? Are people sticking around for this or just going to grab something on the road/as required?

So far, the following have expressed more than definite interest in partaking on the food:

- Adam
- OMR
- John Pytel
- Clausr
- Holly
- Mike McCormick
- Andros
- Mark (lissyssil)
- Thumber
- Deuce
- C-Kyle

Let me know if you're interested and I'll update the list accordingly.

If anyone has other food ideas, by all means, lets us know.

Once everyone's cool with the menu, I can do a cost estimate then we can figure out each share.

Good job Adam this definitely deserves a separate thread.

I'm in for the meal plan and pretty certain the rest of the cabin mates are...

FYI - the Aspen lodge where some of us staying has the following food preparation infrastructure:

dining room table with four chairs and a kitchenette area with a full-size fridge, microwave, four-burner cooktop range, coffee maker, cutlery, dishes, cookware and towel.

Lots of possibilities.

I'm hungry already....

I didn't see Shane "tha bacon eating machine" on the list.

We're really well outfitted at the Aspen which will be awesome.

I've no problem bringing my travel propane bbq OR the left over charcoal I have.

I'm easy on the lunch. I'd do one day of lodge lunch and another at the course (chili, etc) if that makes life easier.

Even though shane and deuce haven't replied yet you can put them on the list.
I say we do Lodge Lunch delivery on Saturday and pre-made lunches and/or chili on Sunday.

We could wait until a couple of days prior to the event to make a decision on lunches as weather may play a role. A hot meal on a day pouring rain and 10 degrees would be good. I only need the Thursday to make the chili so timing is not an issue.

As for the costs, Adam and and I can pick the stuff up (ie eggs, bacon, steaks). I'll pay for it then collect the $$ at Screaming Heads from everyone.

We would use the Aspen lodge to store and prepare the meals.

Mike,

Sounds like a deal.

How about a Costco run the week leading to the event? I have a membership, in case you don't.

Mike have you found accommodations at the lodge yet?

We could probably fit you in with us in the cabin.

The more the merrier.

Aight folks,

Mike and I discussed this yesterday. We will likely be going to the grand Costco on Wednesday night to pick up our food.

We will need to know who is definintely in. The confirmed names are on the top post to this thread.

Please post your confirmation here or PM and let me know. I will add your name to the list if it's not already on there. If you have any food alergies or sensitivies that we should be aware of, it would be a good time to let us know, as well as any financial constraints.

Confirming that I'm in for the food plan. Allergic to fish and nuts (peanuts and other nuts).

Adam and I will be purchasing the breakfasts (2) and supper (1) on Wednesday night. Basic menu listed on first post. I am assuming we are going to purchase all that is necessary for the three meals. Will post more Wednesday night.
