What a great weekend! Outside of DG, the scenery on this parcel of land ranks among the best I have ever seen anywhere. Really. Absolutely amazing. Add 19 disc golf holes and you get the idea.

Thanks to MWH for pulling off another awesome event! Big thanks to Claus for driving and dealing with our shenanigans for the trip (especially from Andros). That drive home must have been brutal!. Thanks to Adam and Mike for taking care of the food plan. Thanks to Johnny P and Mike for dealing with baskets for the weekend. Thanks to Andros for taking care of accommodations for the weekend. Thanks to everyone who rocked out Aspen Chalet #1! smile

Congrats Shane on the near win, and getting the tie for #1 AM-1 overall for the season. Good luck in open next year!

Other events of the weekend included great food, great company, great scotch, great tequila, a not so great Saturday morning (ask Old Man), some large donations of plastic to the course (ask Old Man), some of the slowest rounds of golf ever played (ask Old Man), some of the worst putting ever witnessed (ask me), as well as some great rounds from some of the Ottawa golfers.

Looking forward to next year!

Found in my van, one north face jacket and one nike umbrella. Let me know if its yours.
There are some wet smelly black socks too but assume you don't want those back.

Oh yeah. I've got some camp cooking pots that I think are Mikes and a DG chair that I didn't look at yet who's name is on it. CKyle or Mike probably.

I'm still hurting today.... smile

Woowhee! nothing but good times at PLL and Screaming heads.

The whole weekend went by so quickly I can't believe I have to
wait another year to play that epic course.

Such a classy Ottawa crew we party hard and we play hard, next year we
should all be under one roof and book a viceroy.

Thank you to all who had a hand in the planning, prepping, cooking, etc..

An extra special thank you to Claus who, as Deuce said, put up with all
our shenanigans with great patience.

Guys, it was a great weekend. Thanks to the food organizers, and thanks to the cabin crew for hosting the get together.

I think it's important for you all to know; however, that Bo was very disappointed with the state of the cabin. It seems that the Ottawa folk were not as easy on the accomodations as they could have been.

That's too bad. Lots of flow in such a short time. I don't even think there was anything around to clean with (mop/vacuum) so it's tough to prevent disappointment. I don't think anything was broken and it was probably best to leave the wax on the glass table for somebody with cleaners.

PLL is very nice to us and I appreciate that.

Thanks for sharing that though Holly. I'll make sure next time to wrap up with Bo my disappointments but I'll do that in person. I didn't feel the need until now as I felt the give/take to be totally adequate considering the circumstances.

WTH? Nothing was broken at all. What did they expect us to do? Clean it for the next set of guests?

Both mine. Thanks Claus. I'm not 100% sure if I will be out tomorrow night, but worst case I will grab them from you this weekend.

If you noticed above the sink was a small sign that said to tidy up
before you check you or something of the sort.

I for one feel bad that we had to leave in such a rush and didn't have time to
clean up, I was thinking about it all day Sunday.

I didn't have a look at the cabin myself (there were more checking-out problems on Monday), but Bo did make it very clear to me that she was pissed about "the mess".

I also know she was not happy about the smoking in the viceroy, so probably she was also not happy about any lingering smoke smells in the Ottawa cabin.

Mike and I stayed and cleaned up some more and i know all the dishes were cleaned. Mike also cleaned the leaking mess of the floor. There was nothing to vacuum, mop, or freshen the place with. That would have taken all of 10 minutes to do and of course the cleaning person would have done it all again.

I put the leaking garbage outside and left all the card board and bottles inside. It was raining. Seemed like the right things to do.

We smoked cigarettes outside and cleaned our butts up.

I didn't leave the place any worse for wear than hotels I've stayed in. You put rain and a sand entrance into the place then you deal with what gets trucked in there.

Given the number of people filling the PLL one would expect more incidents of "partying". Ours and the Viceroy saw that action unfortunately and hopefully BO recognizes that of the occupants of those places.

Andros only worried because it was on his visa. Trust me he didn't worry about the shape my trailer was in last year. lol.

We didn't leave the place spic and span that's for sure but it wasn't somebodies cottage we borrowed. Paid $430 dollars for use of it. Give and take and patience.

That is an understatement. Checking out was ridiculous. Deuce and I had to go to the office 3 times

I was a little pissed at the mess she was while I was trying to eat dinner but didn't feel the need to tell the staff. IN fact, you weren't staying there either and bringing it up to you is pretty inappropriate.

There were no cigarettes smoked in the cabin at all.

This place gets all kinds of fishermen, snowmobilers, etc. They should be prepared and used to dealing with people who come there to party.

Johnny P said it best above

None of this should be construed as bitching. Just, if she wants to throw stones, she best step out of the glass house

Which reminds me: did anyone pick up my cards? It's a deck from the Bellagio. I left them in the cabin. frown
