Is there a deadline for signing up?

(I'm interested but I'll have to look into travel, accomodations, and $ome other thing$)

I would imagine until it fills up there would be no deadline.

I'd heard you'd gone over to the dark side Cool

Maybe next time, Jeff!

Holly, theres no artificial deadline for registration, just supply and demand.

And its a lot easier for me to plan for this event when I know the numbers.

That said, the tournament discs are already on delivery and each
Amateur entrant will receive a custom stamped Pro Katana
(almost wrote Kanata) and a Star Mako.

There will be more in the players pack as well.

And to be sure, this is a non-profit event, except to benefit discgolf and discgolfers in Ontario.
All proceeds will go directly to the groovy players packs, open players pay-outs,
lunches, trophies , park and sanctioning fees.
If there is anything left over, $2.49 towards my psycho therapist.
(yeah I know, normally thats just one word)

Players packs are coming together, heres a pic of the two awesome
discs included in all AM players packs Blue=Star Mako,White=Pro Katana...(but thats not all...)

Not for those two beautiful types of discs. No worries, I've got some acetone somewhere...

Well, it's a great thing that I registered for this event. My average score over the weekend is between 8 and 9 strokes off of my best there before (lower now), I brought home two CTPs, and, best of all...

I won the grand prize in the TIML raffle, which is an Air Canada trip to anywhere in Continental North America to play a Disc Golf Tournament, with the accompaniment of this past weekend's TD, the great Dave Slater.

Boy, I am stoked about that one, and am thinking Steady Ed Memorial, De LaVeaga, either as Novice AM in 2011 or Intermediate AM in 2012. Of course, I'll have to talk with Dave about that, but we'll figure it out.

Of course, I'll turn it into a week long vacation, and hit Napa valley MANY TIMES while there.

Anyone who was on the fence about that tourney should really participate. It's a great time, beautiful and fantastically maintained course, and a very well run tourney. Y'all missed out this year. smile

Dave rocks. When I was traveling to Worlds in Flagstaff I arrived at Air Canada check-in and they said I had been upgraded to first class. This was Dave behind the scenes working for me and Arthur.

Embarassed You guys make me blush (thats not easy to do)

The weekend was great fun and honestly, nothing makes me happier
then to see players from out of town pledge their support by making the
effort to get to an event they have to travel some distance to.

It reminds me how important it is to support each other (reminder: Cap Classic) and how much fun it is to renew acquaintences.

Cheers All, p.s. the results are on the PDGA board.
