Nice Lissysil! Isn't it construction holiday over there too?

Not when you're a Federal Public Servant working on the Quebec side. No such thing as a construction holiday. Confused

Just a SFQ, aside from the obvious (ie tent, discs) , what do people normally bring? Some food, drinks and beer, I would imagine? Anything else I should consider?

With lunches both days, free bagels and coffee in the morning (with a $2 bacon and egg plate), and a free corn roast on Saturday night, most of your immediate needs are taken care of.

It's always cool to bring your own stuff as well...beverages and snacks and the Great Gazoo to help caddy!

Nothing is unpossible!

Teaser Alert.....

Tremendous thanks to the Men with Hats and you participants for helping make this happen. Those that know, know what this means to me personally. It is something I hope we can continue to do in honour of our friend Dusan in support of the foundation.

This is a side game with no additional cost beyond registration. We will be making a $7.50 donation for each participant to the Dusan Nedelko Foundation. With the current 33 registered participants this means we’re already at $250. Awesome!!!

How it’s going to work? We’ll be scoring a modified Stableford system for your Saturday play on the par 3’s only. No additional holes. No additional pressure. Fun and for everybody, can you get more Dusan than that?

Participants will be placed on 1 of 4 appropriately named teams. Placed evenly/randomly by class with derivative style algorithms to make sure it’s even. We’ll toss out the mean score on a team(s) or something like that if there’s odd numbers. There’s a high probability you will be carded with fellow team mates on your first round so we can cheer each other on.

Modified Stableford Scores like this:
• Double bogey or worse - minus-3 points
• Bogey - minus-1 point
• Par - 0 points
• Birdie - 2 points
• Ace - 5 points

The prize to the winning team, with the highest total score, will be a bottle of red wine for each team member. This is why we’ll only score the Saturday play so we can do the rewards before dinner and hopefully be toasting a glass or two or ten in honour of Dusan.

Those that know, know the wine story. Those that don’t will surely hear me speak of it at the event and appreciate its significance to me.

We’ll be placing another empty bottle on the “Dusan Wall of Wine” in his honour and memory.

AH Yeah, the Deucemeister!

Good to have you on board! I believe that clear drinks like vodkas, gins, and blanco tequilas all accessorize very well with a soy surrounding, just to give you a heads up in your tournament planning...

Yes speaking of clear liquors does the Ottawa crew want to go in on another bottle of guts inspired tequila?

It doesn't have to be Patrone again although it was delish.
