Nice work!!

Never fails. You always get your best rounds in at the END of Worlds.

Good tournie boys. You'll be on fire when you get back! Just in time for the Fall Season. The best season of disc golf in the Valley.

Schultz played a different course than Carl in the last round, but I'm sure he would have taken the offer anyways. Carl did, almost, ace after him. big grin

A quick count puts Roxie at 150th out of 175 (~top 86%). Not bad, not bad.

Two rounds above his ratings (one a killer round, 2 strokes off a +1000). One round just off, and a round he'd like half back.

For those who want to see what Carl had to compete against, the leader (and possibly the Champ AGAIN) Nate Doss, the highest rated DG in the World, Nikko, the 2010 Worlds Champ McCabe, and big arm Avery Jenkins, will be playing TIML in September.

Josh Anthon has birdied the last 8 holes! He's 3 back from Doss.

The finals are going to be exciting.

They were exciting. Nate dominated and took home is 3rd Worlds title. Unbelievable the shots those guys can make. Shooting for 2's on 500 ft holes. Hitting 100 ft putts like they are nothing.

Paige Pierce took home the womans side by 2 strokes I think.

This was a guy from Utah we drove around all week. Can you guess what his name was?

Yeah, schedule shows different courses for A and B groups, but what I did notice was:

Schultz's 89 was worth 984, exactly the same as a guy who finished two places behind Carl, also shooting 89/984 in the 4th round.

It's not often two same scores from different courses get the exact same rating....

Might be some changes in the coming days.

Yup. Waldo. Bruce Waldo. Had the cane & everything. Even if you were blind you'd know where he was by the shouts of "I found him!", every couple of minutes.

Yeah I don't think those ratings are set in stone yet. The worlds site has the ratings without all the par messing things up. I think my 995 is more like a 969. Oh well I rode it while I could.

On the performance board, Carl placed 85 of 389.

edit: out of 389, not 322

Cool. What is the idea behind the Performance Board?

Based on your rating they projected your score. They then compared that number to your actual score. You did better than they expected.
