why did Sartre say that we are all "condemed to be free"?

why did Machiavelli say that it was better to be feared than loved? what does he say about hatred?

what was the Little Albert Experiment?
(hint for you out there- has to do with John Watson and Behaviourism)

He believes in heaven.

Because he was an ugly son-of-a-biatch

It won't get you loving.

I don't think the Forum allows that sort of conversation here.

i give you an A-

Condemeed to be free- because we are born free as humans, we make our own choices in life.
its easier to blame others for your hardships, but since only you control your destiny, it is up to you alone to define your life.

Machiavelli- said that it was better for a ruler to be feared than loved, becasue when the peole fear you, they will follow your rules, if they loved you, they will not becasue they do not fear puinishment

don't be hated- they will revolt against you (ways to make people ahte you- steal their women, land, property)

Little Albert- sad story, take an orphan, let him play with a white rat. he likes it, next day, every time he reaches for the white rat, bang a lead bar and a fry pan behind his head.
OMG- we taught the baby to fear something that he didn't before-
generalizzation effect- he became scared of many white things.
