Calling all fence sitters!!!!

Doing food shopping today. If you can let your intentions be known on here or the DGO forum that would be great.

I know of some strong maybe's, a few yes's, and i'll know soon's that are not on Bee's list on the DGO.

Rock on!!! Started the back nine play list. Interesting stuff....

I just posted this on DGO. Details stuff.

Food

I’ll be having some bagels, coffee, juice boxes, cream cheese, and jam for morning eats over and above the lunch’s and dinner. Lunch’s are going to be hamburgers/hot dogs. Dinner will be BBQ pork souvlaki, twice baked (so ironic) potatoes, pasta salad.

I’ll have bottled water and pop.

I’ll buy some beer for around the course.

Outside of the above. I’ll have BBQ and griddle available to people if they need it.

Please bring a bottle of shooter material for the back nine watering hole.

Contact me if you have any special needs.

Local Ameneties

-Bourget – 5 minutes away

-Pizza delivery available to the course. Milano Pizza 613-487-2227

-Mon Voisin – Convenience store. Ice, smokes, etc. Take out chicken available.

-Bourgetel (613) 487-3359– Bistro Bar. Good food. Open for breakfast Saturday. Later Sunday brunch.

-Liquor/Beer Store

-Bourget Pharmacy (613) 487-3598 - I don’t know their hours but big Pharmacies in Rockland and Casselman with longer hours.

-Bigger Grocery stores and fast food joints in Casselman and Rockland ( 10 and 20 minutes away)

“Barn” Rules

With respect to Bee’s comment “like the shire but no barn rule! Back nine bar rule instead”.

The place is so big people should be able to find their space and privacy. My 13 and 9 year old boys will be there this weekend. The 13 year old will have a friend as his mom is coming to party. Some discretion would be appreciated but they’re just inquisitive kids. If you need some space just let me and/or them know.

The only back nine watering hole rule is… It RULES!!!!

Premises

I don’t have a pool or showering facilities readily available. We’ve got lots of water to cool off with though.

Port-a-potty
Sink / running water
Blow up pool
Banana slide
Sprinkler

I have some good news and bad news on my part;

Bad news is I can't play both days as it's my grandparents 55th eek anniversary on
the Sunday, and they've invited me to a brunch near Corntown.

Good news is that I will be out on Saturday at noonish and camping over night to bask in the wicked festivities.

So I can lend a hand wherever it's needed, spotting ,grilling, prep, beer runner, whatever.
Rain or shine I'll be there.

Okay Ottawa!

A whole bunch of out-of-towners are coming near your area to party and golf and whoop it up!

Let us know how that paint dries on the shed and we'll post up our ROCKING party photos after the weekend!

If you hear a cacaphony of shrieks coming from the Casselman area, don't call the fire department, just wait patiently by YouTube and keep hitting refresh...you'll see what the fun was eventually!

Aloha fence sitters!!!

Seriously though, we'd all like to be there, but there is about to be a rash of babies on our club membership, not seen since the great war. Pregnant mommas take priority, or so I have been told.

Thank you to John Pytel and his family and friends for putting on the best event I have been party to! Your charity and goodwill, tireless efforts to feed us and beer us and keep us in disc panic is legendary! Not enough word exist in this language to thank you for the awesomeness!

And thank you to our wonderful players and travellers for their incredible support--the OD Tour exists because of you!

Thank you to the ODGC for supporting us by permitting us to utilize this forum for promotional purposes.

Discstock is up next and will sell out very soon. Interested parties should contact either me or Turly to reserve their spot in this exclusive event. Totally worth the drive.

Thanks Ottawa!

Thanks John and Shela (sp?) for the hospitality. The course layout played great. Enjoyed the watering holes. Thanks Men in Hats for organizing this.
