Folks,
we'll be playing the first Tuesday League Night round of the season at The Shire on May 5, 2009.
All disc golfers are welcome, regardless of ability!

We'll gather in the garage, and we'll be starting the round at 6:15.

BE AT THE SHIRE BY 6:00PM TO REGISTER! Allow time for traffic, too. There isn't going to be enough daylight to start after 6:15.

Players will find their current disc golf handicaps in the "sticky" thread in this forum. All players, whether you have a disc golf handicap or not are able to participate.

Exact change would be appreciated. Fees are $5.

If you haven't already joined the ODGC, what are you waiting for? Participate in the Tuesday league, and experience quality disc golf in Ottawa.

Anyone who hasn't paid their dues should come prepared to do so. Annual Memberships will be on sale as well.

Highly recommended is an annual Tuesday Night Registration package. This is available to current members for $75 and includes your registration to all events for the entire season.

As if excellent competitive disc golf wasn't enough reason to make it out to the Shire on May 5, this season kick-off comes with special bonuses:

The fair-weather season is beginning, and you'll be in one of the best places in Canada to pick up all of the plastic that you need to start your season off the right way.

The Ultimate Disc Golf Store is offering all Tuesday Night participants at The Shire on May 5 Club Pricing on golf discs!

Special thanks to Rob Wormald and the Ultimate Disc Golf Store for helping us start the season in excellent fashion.

I could really use a ride out to the Shire, though.

Anyone going to be near the 417/Riverside or Industrial/St. Laurent right around 5:00 tomorrow?

I could pick you up Bourgie.

Club pricing, and then I get to right away throw them. AWESOME! Good work Bourgie and Twirls. Great way to start the Tuesday night season.

TOSS is a Presidents Cup Tier 2 Event, and will probably be big in numbers, so the points payout should be pretty substantial. Correct me if I'm wrong Paul, but I think you need to play at least 6 TOSS events to be considered part of the final totals.

The TOSS PC Points will be based on how you finished in:

Season Champion Award:

This award is presented to the regular participant who had the lowest average differential over the entire regular season.

No correction required, and this (IMO) is an excellent way of allocating Tuesday night points.

so... how is the commute out the Kanata way? If I'm leaving from orleans, what time should I leave at?? ... when the 417 is empty (or low on traffic) I can get to the scotiabank place (ha, I almost said corel centre) in about 45 minutes.

And what's the best way to get there? Any back road short cuts?
