Hot on the heels of the most successful disc golf event Canada has ever played host to, the Maritime Disc Golf Association is pleased to announce that we have been asked to host again in 2019!

The event will take place from Sept 6-8 back on Prince Edward Island. We will be using both the Hillcrest Farm and Huck It Disc golf golf courses for the main event.

We will feature a much better players party (at a new location to be announced soon), three Flex Starts at three different courses, and a Champs vs Chumps rematch.

We will be making some updates available in the next few weeks including our week long calendar.

If you were lucky enough to attend this year you will know how amazing this week is going to be, and if you weren't you certainly don't want to miss out two years in a row.

Just ask around to those who took in our 2018 epic event and know we are aiming to be even better in 2019! Happy disc golfing everybody. We will talk again soon.

CANADIAN NATIONALS DRIVEN BY INNOVA

Happy off-season disc golf season everybody! Since winter decided to show up early, we thought it would be best to offer up an early registration for the 2019 Canadian Nationals driven by Innova. So mark your calendars and get your birdie bags ready as spots go on sale Tuesday, January 15th at 1:00pm EST. We have been feeling the love from our new title sponsor big time and we are excited to share with all of you what we (and they) have in store. Innova will have some special fundraising discs (and merch) for sale directly through their stores in the new year so keep your eyes open for announcements on our events page and throughout Innova’s social media channels.

We have also heard the feedback from the player base from last year’s event and our team is working hard on further improving what was already an outstanding event. Make sure you join us for our players meeting at the Beer Gardens on Thursday evening in lovely downtown Charlottetown and we know you won’t want to miss this year’s bigger and better players party at BarNone Brewery https://www.facebook.com/BarNone.Brewing/ which will be home to a brand new 18-hole disc golf course just in time for Nationals Week.

Book yourselves a cottage on the beach somewhere and set aside a week (or more) for the best disc golf vacation Canada has to offer (yea, we said that BC!). We are once again a qualifier for the USDGC for all Open players. This year we will have more pros, more workshops, Champs vs Chumps – part deux, and so much more that you really won’t want to miss.

Stay tuned for more news and notes as they come up.
