3 courses, 1 day (summer solstice is the 21st).

Ettyville, Camp Fortune, Flat Mountain.

Details to follow but the format will be something along the lines of:

Ettyville Tee-off early morning
Camp Fortune Tee-off early afternoon
Flat Mountain Tee-off late afternoon, early evening

The order of courses is to be decided amoung those participating. If the Montreal gang does not participate, maybe Camp Fortune, Ettyville, Flat Mountain would be better.

Cost $20 ($5 to each course owner, $5 for some sort of payout). Carpooling will be encouraged.

Any interest?

It is about 1 hour driving between locations. If we start at Ettyville, John has said camping is available on the Friday night.

Cool idea, but yeah that's alot of driving. 1 hour to ettyville. 1 to CF. 1 to FM. 35 mins home again. And then book at least 3 hrs for each round.

That is about what I was estimating. A 12 - 13 hour day. That is why the name of the tournament would be something like Iron Arm or Diehard 1.

Without the Montreal gang, most likely it would be Camp Fortune, Ettyville then Flat Mountain.

Maybe we do this on the 13th so as not to conflict with Disquebec's tournament.

The idea is out there, maybe it will fly, maybe it will not.

Don't let them get to you to Carl. Next thing you know you will be lining up at will to pay tax to the great god called government to rid yourself from the guilt. Listen to the scientists, not the activists.

I think this tourney is an interesting one, the driving is a little awkward, but a great idea on a whole. Is Ettyville fixed so someone does not loose their bag of discs in the crops?

Only if you bring some game with you Rolly. Shocked

We need those crops for bio-fuel for all the driving and plastic discs that need to be made.

Driving. Pretty funny stuff. How about we drive to TO to play instead?

I liked the name of Iron Lungs for this event.

No we need those crops to prevent higher food costs. (or the space to be used to grow food)

Now back on track,,,
How far off the center of the fairway do you need to go before the discs are lost?
I don't know about playing a course where I think it was a one of the more skilled players who lost his entire bag..?

I changed the date to the 13th so we would not conflict with Disquebec's 2nd tournament.

As there is no player pack, there is no need for commitments.

If it's closer (???) you can use the Alcove course, its at least close to CF

otherwise I will probably have an annual tourny at the end of June for my Bday, either the weekend of 20/21 oor 27/28
