In keeping with Plaid traditions, please find the results posted on the same day as the tournament was held.

2009 Plaid Jacket Results

2009 Plaid Jacket Big Arm Competition Results

I'll fill out a few more things to the results tomorrow, but they will be available at the same URL.

Congrats to two-time champ, Ken Darcovich, who has now won the Plaid in both 2000 and 2009, and many thanks to everyone who helps make the Plaid a success.

Good job everyone who volunteered (especially Ben, Kara-Lee and her sister, non of whom played at the tournament).

I seem to have an extra ODGC red tag. If you put yours in and did not get one back, contact me.

Yes, good times and another great Plaid. Thank you everyone that had a hand in pulling it together.

Congrats Ken, your play was strong and steady. It's was also a pleasure to play a couple of rounds with Wilder. For a guy who hasn't played all summer, you had an amazing day and your natural talent shone through.

Stupid apple tree disgusted .

Thanks to all the organizers and volunteers for making the tournament day a great success. Even the weather cooperated.

Thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts expressed here in this thread.

Thanks to Claus for caddying for me in the finals. I've turned down offers in the past, will gladly accept any future offers.

This had to be the most competitive Plaid ever. Seven players into the final, and a few more only 2, 3 or 4 shots off the second-round leading score who had to be harshly excluded. The breaks went my way on Saturday, I hit the good side of trees and landed on the in-bounds side when I went close to OB.

It was a little surreal for me to win this year. Like Wilder, I hadn't played a lot in 09, and went in without any particular expectations. That helped to keep me from putting too much pressure on myself. My last win was 9 years ago, and there have been a lot of younger, stronger players taking the title in the meanwhile.

Congratulations to all the players in the final. It's always a great pleasure for me to get into a group of players enjoying a good day on the course, and riding the wave of good play, seeing where it all takes you.

Finally, I have to say that the jacket presentation from Twirly was infinitely more professional than my previous one presided over by the Bass.

Thanks ODGC, and to everyone who came out to the tournament to support our local disc golf community.
