It'll be a walk in the park.

The ODGC has received the permit for the use of Jaques Cartier Park, for Saturday September 19th, for the 2009 Plaid Jacket.

We will be playing the 2005 Plaid JCP layout (#1 Red will be used instead of Yellow and Blue).

The Alleys are back!

This layout was Colin McDonald's second Plaid victory, and features one of the best South Side layouts JCP has ever seen.

The Alleys were 3 of the more difficult holes to gain strokes on, though strokes could be lost very easily with an early experimentation in arboriculture. Even though in tournaments these 3 holes allowed for some unsolicited meetings of others and their discs, the Alleys were great holes to throw discs, and at times, roll them down.

Hole #4 had to be shortened since the 2005 season to accommodate all the new picnicers that took advantage of the beauty that JCP offered, but it will be elongated to it's tough 2005 tee. For those who remember, this was a wonderful hole to get a bogey on.

Think you finally mastered your an-hyzer? Can you make it to the #2 basket with your new found flick? Now's the year where the huge hyzer will pay off, you say. The bushes on #2 haven't stopped growing. In fact, it looks like someone has been dropping fertilizer and growth hormones in the ground.

North Side (doesn't) Suck!

Ahh, the smell of rotting apples. Though the Orchard hole didn't make the cut for many tournaments at JCP, the smell was always still there. The opportunity to get some apple guts on your disc will still be available for your licking pleasure, when you cut the trees too low on #9, or you go for the imaginary "black" ace shooting at #10. Can you make the ridge four years later?

Mando. Is there anymore needed to be said? So easy in theory, so bloody scary in practice. No sand will be used, so hit the chains hard!

So there it is. Some dreamy dreams for you during your days at work at the end of a non-summer-type-summer.

I absolutely love this layout! Number 10 is one of the toughest holes I've ever played.

Can't wait! This is going to awesome!

The online registration site is once again up. Get your intentions known about coming to the Plaid, and see who else has signed up as well.

Please sign up here in the ODGC Forum. The Kamloops registration page is now dead, and they've upgraded their web site, and likely changed servers as well.

Please print off a few copies of the tournament flyer for the 12th Annual Plaid Jacket to give to your disc-playing friends.

--> THIS TOURNAMENT WILL SELL OUT. <--- So sign up now and send in your entry fees to the tournament director quickly.

~That is all~

Alleys you say? Even better.
Mando you say? No problem.
