Still a couple of tuesdays left before the course is removed.

Could use same structure as the TOSS. $5 ($2 club, $2 adjusted payout, $1 for lowest score). Sign in 5:45, playing by 6.

Sure. I can meet you at the practice baskets. Bring all your tags, and I'll try to find you some scorecards for my old home course on The Island.

If there is no interest in playing the toss format, maybe we can play a skins match. I plan on being there for 5:45.

I'm going to JCP soon. I'll play what seems most interesting at the time.

Thanks Don, Mike, Claus, OMR, and Shane a fine evening @ JCP.
Don pointed out a technical foot fault with someone's putt last night which I was totally unaware of, I guess I should read the rules book.
Why'd you delete that post Shane? big grin

Sergio was on his knee which was ahead of his foot by an inch or 2.

That wasn't half as bad as Serge picking up his disc before his partner had a chance to shoot from the spot. lol

Fun doubles last night.

#5 yellows. Is the tree on the left mando to protect the path? OMR and Claus were on a team last night when Claus threw a long roller shot right down the path. We called it out but they argued it was in.

I thought that route was out to protect pedestrians

We never put a mando on that hole as that's not the desired route. Hopefully people playing in that direction are aware of the pedestrian traffic.

Kind of like Pat's first put in the finl round of the Trio Serge? I hope you honoured the rules call in the same respect he did ours. big grin Even though you only fouled 1x in the shot as opposed to two. big grin

There are all kinds of things that get by on casual play that you have to be prepared for being called properly at serious tournaments.

- the lie of your foot is directly behind the centre of your disc - not beside it, or several feet away from it. If you can't run up accurately to within 30cm straight back from the lie of the mini, don't run up. It will be called at the Plaid.

- If you touch your mini, or your disc, with your lead foot when you're putting, and it moves substantially, you've essentially demonstrated that you've gone over the line - it's a foot fault if called properly as defined in the rules. To be safe, start at least a couple of inches away from your mini, and you'll probably avoid problems.

- Your other point of contact with the ground can't be any closer to the basket than your legal lie where your mini is located. If you're unsure if your other point of contact is clean, just ask the other players on your card before you throw.
