Some of the items that are most needed these days at The Food Bank are the following:

- Soup
- Juice Boxes
- Macaroni & Cheese
- Cereal
- Canned Tuna
- Dry Pasta & Sauce
- Baby Supplies: Diapers, Baby Food, Formula
- Household Products
- Personal Hygiene Products
- Condiments

... and from an Ice Bowl perspective... HEAVY food items! smile cool

Please don't forget to bring a couple bags of food with you to the registration table. The more you bring, the more bonus Ice Bucks you'll receive.

Thanks everyone for making our Ice Bowls so successful!

Sorry that we'll be missing you Schnobbler!

See you in the morning though - and come on by The Honest Lawyer for the Ice Auction, as you will get some ice bucks for what you bring in the morning, and you can purchase more Ice Bucks at the pub.

If you come by for only the Pneumonia Nine after your exam, I'm sure we can squeeze you in.

Cheers,

Every paid participant gets a player pack that contains a new golf disc, hand warmers, a winter sports magazine, munchies & more. There will be a wide variety of discs available...

Looking forward to a snowy day tomorrow. We will be out there tonight making paths and getting ready. If anyone knows the format we are playing, we could use snow shoes and walk it through to pack it down. Post here if you know the format. The snow depth is 2 feet in some places so high boots or gators are the only way to go.

The format for the first round will be an easy one, with our players shooting the course backwards from basket to basket. This layout offers players a chance to nab over $100 in the ace pool. Don't forget to sign up for it!!!

The Pneumonia Nine will be a mixture of holes from previous editions of the Ice Bowl, along with a few new holes.

The more paths, the merrier. I'm going to lay out the P9 course tomorrow morning bright and early. It uses two other baskets, including the very dusty practice basket that is in between basket #1 and #2, and this basket, which was one of my favourite holes from last year:

*** CONTEST *** - For the keeners who read the forum.

Name ALL the people in this photo. I count 20 players in the back row and 9 players in the front. The first person to get it right with 29/29 wins 50 ice bucks.

For a larger version of this shot, just go over here.

For a bonus 25 ice bucks, give me a creative reason why Montreal Pat wasn't in the photo.

Both photos by Ottawa disc sport pioneer, John Dowding, who I'm happy to say will be back once again to capture images of us at our 7th annual Ice Bowl.

Generally, you managed to get 28 out of 29 right. Close, but no cigar for you. You were close... sort of like Al Gore was in the Presidential elections.

... more clues above...

BBP was missing a former president and included someone in Pat's missing car.

Pat included a former general manager who I don't see in the photo and missed a former president who is clearly there.

How's that for clues? Subtle, huh? Cool

Shame on you for missing Bourgie!

Pat gets the 50 ice bucks for getting all 29 right.

Now then, who will give the best "why Pat was late" story for 25 ice bucks?
