The City has taken precautionary measures to ensure their baskets don't get wrecked this winter by protecting them, with what looks to be white foam. All the baskets in the crater are padded to make sure that vigilante tobagganers don't use them as emergency brakes?!? - I guess.

Do we really want to play Orleans as an object course?

I know we don't play this course very much - and for good reason - but to go out there to play what's now a large-target-non-tonal-pole course seems a little silly. I'd play many other parks in Ottawa as object courses before I'd play that park. Can we maybe go to JCP? Play a basket to basket round? Or a basket-to-the-next-basket round? Any other options at this short notice?

Sorry to say that I'm not very enthused about playing Orleans. I planning to skip this date.
However if the powers that be move IL to a new location, its 90% probable that I will be out.

We won't be using the Orleans course in its present state...

BBP is contacting Rolly, and we'll announce a replacement course shortly.

Stay tuned!

And the "No"s win 4 to 1. So were going to JCP. Jebus, when was the last time you've played JCP? Anyways, we haven't figured the layout yet, but if I get a hold of Rolly he can make one, or we can play the Yeti or Itey, or any other silly layout I've come up with in the past. Though, with the new South side it could be interesting...

Geeky and silly names given to Monster 9 courses at JCP. Yeti is played one way, and the Itey is played in the other direction. They came from the Yeti on an Ice Bowl disc awhile back. Back when they made cool designs that didn't involve penguins and poodles. Though they're still better than the World's Biggest designs. Those are horrible. Somewhere out there in ODGC forum land is the real explanation on the layouts and baskets.

Just to save you a step with our SEARCH function...

Start applying the Tiger Balm...we're playing the Yeti Course.

We will be playing basket-to-every-other-basket-in-reverse-order (BTEOBIRO). All the Odds. So that's Basket# 5-3, 3-1, 1-17, 17-15, 15-13, 13-11, 11-9, 9-7, 7-5.

You can have some fun layouts in the snow season when you don't have to worry as much about parking lots and pathways.

Well I guess we can Monster it up. Confused Not so much fun without #1. 3 to 1 was always fun. So was 1 to 18, though it wasn't a Yeti hole.

1 to 18. Fond memories, eh Bourgie? The miracle throw with a 150 Valk.

The Evens could be fun. We can talk about it at #5 on Saturday. We can take a vote with who's there.
