If you Google "Tonal Pole" you get a picture of me. I don't think I like that.

But to answer your question it's a cylinder metal target. It makes a sound, or a "tone".

It could look like this. Camp Fortune started out his way.

I've heard great things about St-Ace's course, so I'm really looking forward to play it.

This will be the last time this year that it will get played, and in a few weeks, you won't want to be there.

Now is the time!

By the way, Stevie Rydell and Steph the Director are now both featured alongside BBP as the official Google Images of Tonal Poles:

Hee, hee, hee! laughing laughing laughing

Not quite sure how it's funny. It's a bit of a privacy issue. Even when I changed the avatar of Person A it still comes up on google.

I'm in for this fine event Stace.

How's the ice putt going to work? Is someone bringing a basket?

Being well-indexed by Google is both a blessing and a curse, but it wasn't Google that chose to post that photo for your account. Eventually it will fall out of this particular type of word search.

There are probably a lot more things like that out there, but you were fortunate (?) enough to trip on that one. Who knows what other terms are google-associated with some part of our site? That's life in the 21st century.

At least we're no longer highly ranked in Google searches for Zoey 101, as we're now at the bottom of page two and falling fast.

Unfortunately, this post will probably move us up. Crying or Very sad laughing

If someone could bring a basket, it would definitely come in handy.

I'll drop by the Rainbow tonight to see if Stacie needs anything else.

Hi...
Shockingly enough I'm actually not at the Rainbow tonight (first day off in 21 days). Other than a few baskets, I don't think I need anything. However a note to those who are planning on coming out this weekend:
Dress appropriately. I can't stress this enough. It's a big course, imagine playing a round at Mooney's Bay, with more up and downs. With that being said, dressing to stay warm is the way to go.
*** Wear boots. There is ankle-deep snow out here in the country, sneakers won't cut it, believe me I've tried.
Also, my folks, being the great hosts' that they are, have had me make chili and hot apple cider. Dad will have the firepit going for a bonfire to warm up to before and after the round... Its going to be a nice time, feel free to plan on chilling for a while after the round if your schedule permits.
Hope to see you all out here on Sat.
Stacie

16th! Sweet, DG on my Bday and I live a few blocks from that course!

I probably won't play much Ice bowl this year, but can I play this day?

P.s. I'm going to Slayer for sure, although more for Unearth.

Come on down! Even if you can't make it to the Ice Bowl, any and all Ice League events are open for everyone.

Bring Jen out as well... at least one McDonald should make it to an Orleans event! big grin

We might not be able to make it to Ettyville this season, as our host, John Pytel, is building his new house on the property this year, and has a bunch of hockey dad commitments to his kids on the remaining available days.

Looking forward to going to the Ettyville Express this upcoming season instead... check out last year's site for more info on this musical and disc golf experience.

Hey John - maybe we can have a casual round out there some Sunday instead - pick a date and maybe we'll get a crowd out there to your course.

At least he only has to build the house once! big grin

That's cool, as long as I get to play it sometime this year.
Is this Saturday's league at Flat Mountain?

Yes, we'll be out at OMR's place this upcoming Saturday for our next Ice League event.

More info a bit later, as we'll probably have a special prize for the first person to sink the #9 station in the Ice Putt.
