We'll find them, and maybe even Darco's precious forest green disc in the forest, as it should be easy to find in the daylight.

We encourage you to sign up and pre-pay for the Ice Bowl as well, and save money by doing so, as the weekly Ice League events are now tied to your registration to the Ice Bowl. Pre-paid & registered participants pay $6 for Ice League events and non-registered people pay the full $8 weekly fee.

You can pre-pay for the Ice Bowl ($30 for ODGC members and $35 for non-members) at any Ice League event, or by sending it in to the address listed on our registration page:

www.odgc.ca/signup/

After the next few weeks we should have enough to order the Player Pack material, and then the pre-paid players will get their pick of the discs when they come in. I'll post the weights/colours of all of those discs upon receipt of the discs.

See you at Flat Mountain!!!

My one tip for a fun Orleans round is to play it both ways - clockwise and counter. You can get some pretty sick holes.

I think the only way we will see Colin is if the disc golf date is changed.

So...
who needs directions to "the Penn' as Don puts it? (although the Pit might be more appropriate):
Jump on the 5 (same high way as to CF),go on it all the way to the end. at the end there is a stop sign, take a right (if you go left you'll end up on the 5 going back to town). About 200 M up, there is a T-intersection, go left (ie north, following the Maniwaki signs). Stay on this highway (the 105 north), until the next big intersection (they are few and far between on this road, in case you miss it, you'll see a Giant Tiger on the right). Turn right go down the hill into the pretty village of Wakefield. At the bottom of said hill, you will come to another T-intersction, go left. Stay on this road, it will take you through the village, on the far side of the village there is another intersection, go straight, heading north, still following the Maniwaki signs. (FYI- I live about 6 min. drive from this intersection).
So you're on the 105 heading north, after 3-4 minutes you will pass a garage on your left, this is your half way mark. Keep going on the highway, when the high way splits into a four-lane up a head, looming on the left, you will see a massive sandpit, turn left onto the dirt road (Echo Dale) when you get to the pit. My driveway is the first driveway on the right, its about 3 km from the highway, its a long driveway, you can't see the house until the end of the driveway (if you have 4 wheel drive you might like to use it). park when you get to the house.
Note to everyone: I have tonels not baskets... They're better for your aim.
Good luck see you all on the 9th... Twirly & Karl you better be at this one, no whining that you haven't played the course come the new year Wink
Meldrum and Gavin, these are good directions eh?
Any questions let me know?
