We're approaching the final stretch of the season, and week 16 will see play from the blue teepads at Jacques Cartier Park. New players are always welcome. We'd like to have you join us for the round.

I was wondering the same thing for OMR and PB's handicaps, since I thought they could only move down, as they are supposed to reflect "potential" or your "threat factor" rather than "average score".

Mine's gone up as well over the last couple of weeks. Though it's steady around 7.

The more you play, the more the chance for up-ward movement it seems.

All the scores on Tuesday were high scoring. Take a look at the scores and you'll see the best was a 54.
OMR's went up because he added a score to his average and hasn't shot his best in a couple of rounds. Mine's been going up all season because I can't get it together.

Any interest in moving this weeks league to Ettyville? The course will be all set up and ready to go for this weekend. Definitely something a bit different the JCP.

Last year a few of us went out for the Tuesday night (i think) after the Ettyville Express and played a round. Our group ended up driving and putting the last couple of holes in the dark (must limit lost disc searching time).

I know this course is not rated. But I ask you, would you sooner play yet another round from Blues or play a course that is uniquely available for only a very short period of time per year?

Of course we would also need to get John Pytel's (sp??) permission.

How long a drive is it to Ettyville (given the time of day, etc.)?

I'll be there and looking for a skins game if possible. (If not, that's cool too, I'll still be there.)

----------------------------------------

This time at ettyville will be without Mr. Ty. The sweet little creature passed away last night, very quickly, without suffering too much. He was a truly gentle soul, who never had a mean thought his entire life, and will be sorely missed by all who knew him well.

That's sad Jeff. We're thinking of you and your family. Not easy losing a part of the family and the Flat Mountain Course. He usually only made it to hole #2.

In an effort to clean up my house, and make my Sonya so extremely happy, I'm bringing all the discs that clog up my house to TOSS this Tuesday. I've got my discs now that I want, and all the others that I've met on the way still want into the game, so maybe you've got a place in your bag for them.

I've chatted with the Pengellys, the Bourgeoisehs and to Ben, and they're doing the same. If you've got discs that aren't being used, bring them out Tuesday and see if we can find them a home in a disc golf bag, were they belong.

Even if you don't have discs to trade I could be easily convinced to sell some of these discs for real cheap. Real cheap. I figure, if I can sell 3 to pay for a new one that I've recently lost, I'm ahead.

I've got a bunch of Orcs that I know I will be getting rid of, and the real search will begin tomorrow when I attack the house in an attempt to find all lonely discs.

We can do this at the picnic tables near the main parking lot. This would be easier than transporting them back and forth from Hole #1 Table.

Given that Mike asked:

...and there was no official reply given.

Given that BBP wrote the following:

...would I be correct in assuming that we ARE playing at JCP this week and we are NOT playing Ettyville?

big grin

You can't reach him on the cell because his boss hasn't paid the cell bill. No joke. We realized it on the way home from Tulsa. Welcome back, Euro!
