The Tuesday Ottawa Singles Series continues on the 15th of August with a round from the yellow teepads. This will be the final round of the fifth Quarterback Challenge of the season. Cards will be seeded according to your quarterback rank, and then by player handicap.

New players are always welcome at the course on Tuesday nights. We would like to have you join us for the round. You don't need a player handicap or a quarterback standing to participate.

We will be meeting near the Trans Canada Trail pavillion at 6:00pm, and we'll be golfing by 6:15. Don't be late, since the waning sunset time is forcing us to start on time or risk finishing in the dark.

Player handicaps for the week are as follows:
Last First Handicap
Bason Mark 12
Bourgeois Paul 13
Burgoin Chris 16
Darcovich Ken 8
Dobrev Stefan 3
Doucette Dan 15
Fowler Mike 19
Heard Pat 9
Heginbottom James 9
Lane Don 10
Lariviere Jeff 12
Leach Andrew 11
Legare Pierre 20
Lepack Jason 10
Leslie Robyne 22
McCormick Luke 14
McCormick Mike 14
McDonald Colin 8
Meldrum Jeff 5
Myre Stephane 18
Pengelly Arthur 10
Pengelly Dawn 15
Penton Geoff 7
Pinches Craig 19
Rancourt Marc 8
Reitlingshoefer Claus 8
Rowland Geoff 8
Schnobb Gavin 15
Seguin Serge 15
Sivyer Stacie 16
Stott Brett 11
Svetkoff Ben 14
Vinet Eric 8
Visser Carl 7
Wormald Rob 6
Wright Ben 23

For the record the quarterback standings are as follows:
Rank Last First Handicap 1st Round 2nd Round Total
1 Penton Geoff 7 55 49 104
2 Vinet Eric 8 56 49 105
3 Lane Don 10 61 50 111
4 Visser Carl 7 56 56 112
5 Lariviere Jeff 12 62 56 118
6 Doucette Dan 15 64 55 119
7 Bourgeois Paul 13 71 55 126
8 Leslie Robyne 22 70 60 130

If all eight players report for the final round, there will be enough room for two pools of players. The median handicap is 11 (between Don and Jeff L), which makes the players ranked 1-4 in the A pool, and players ranks 5-8 in the B pool. Currently, the quarterback pot stands at $31, and looking at how close both pools are, it should be an exciting round of golf!

What happens on the last TOSS night? It isn't the third? It's the first, or the fourth.
