Ok I just though of this. When in australia if you flush the toilet it swirls in the opposite way as it would here. When you throw a golf disk down there would it naturally curve the same way as it would up here? (right to left on a normal right handers throw).

Coriolis effect is inertial (the toilet water thing). The throwing of a disc is an external force applied to the disc. Therefore, the disc would spin the same way in the Northern and Southern hemispheres and it's the spin the gives the curve of the disc (a righty throwing forehand gets a left-to-right curve)...

...and I haven't even had any coffee, yet!
