Talk of course records, multiple teepads and underwater holes has forced me to reveal the secret of the Triple Crown to the uninitiated. This JC ironman classic involves playing all the back 9 holes in sucession. Red to Yellow to Blue teepads for 27 holes is the challenge. Current record holder Chuck Schick boasts his -16 will soon be bettered. We shall see.

Long live the Triple Crown! It is great fun, a great idea and a great challenge. Regardless of what you score, all those mid-range shots are sure to improve accuracy and overall ability.

So how does that work exactly? Where to you start and where do you finish?

The Triple Crown now carries the Brother André seal of approval!

To answer slutpupy's question about where to start, you start at hole number 7 on the red tees and play them all to number 14 and then start again on the yellow tee pads and finish with the blue tee pads. Be sure to play 13b, too

Great fun and a great challenge, too. Just be sure to sandwich the yellow tees in between the others or else it can be a little disheartenig watching your sub-par round turn into a round of 0...dang...

See you on the course!

Andrew

The tee is to the right of the basket for 13 and closer to the path. You'll see a bare spot between 2 trees. When you're standing there facing 13b, look to your left for two sticks in the ground marking where the tee pad will be.

Good luck
