Drove past the golf course, it looks as though the snow's getting thinner. Anyone been lately?

Havn't played since just before the Ice Bowl, but I'm game for a game.

How about we assemble the regulars for a round on Saturday at noon? Maybe make it a random draw skins game format.

Who can make it?

I'm supposed to help Dozer move on Saturday but I'll tell him I'm sick... Don't tell him, though...

Hey DFB, how were those Sens tickets that you won at the Ice Bowl auction?

Just got back from playing the first round of the year.

The round was great with a few intermittent snow patches, sloppy tee pads (which we didn't use), and grown men standing around in the bushes trying to look inconspicuous.

Yeah golf season!

I played a round today as well, and have a few observations:

- Someone killed a young tree near the tee-off area to #7.

- Mother Nature dumped a Bucket-O-Mud on the tee pads of most of our holes.

- The snow at #17 is very favourable to my throws... they just slip their way to the basket. Can we get a slick snowdump delivered before the Plaid this year?

- No discs to be found. I thought I'd spot a few, but no luck.

- The locals are back. Not too inconspicuous at all, as Chowdah observed. I felt like a vampire hunter on patrol, or maybe I just watch too much Buffy.

- There was no sign of even a pole at #3. I thought we left behind the pole itself???

- I'll wait a while before I play again to let the grass firm up a bit more.

The lack of even a pole at #3 is the main reason it wasn't included during the first round of Ice Bowl...

The lack of a mention of yesterday's round scores leads me to believe that it was not a banner day on the course...

Actually, I had birdies on #10, #14, and #17, but they were cancelled by bogies on #2 (missed a 5m putt), #8 and #16.

I still think that Firebirds suck, but I'll keep working on that &*#&$*& disc.
