So I guess we need to name the new holes.

Some suggestions:

8 - Line, hook and sinker.
9 - That hill one with the tree kinda in the way.
11 - The Oasis of Doom!
13 - Blind Faith
14 - The Mullet (Short drive, long approach-the short-long)
16 - Punch it Chewie

I think you might have over heard some of the locals hiding around #13. I also heard Gavin's name mentioned. ????

Leaving Gavin's little man where it lies, I'll just comment on Chuck's names - a great start (except, of course, for #9). Does anyone have any other suggestions?

We also need a new name for Hole #7 since it was revised (and the old name kinda sucked).

I think even Seabass, still notorious for his contribution to the Twelve Ulty Days of Christmas song, can come up with something better than that suggestion for #9.

Seabass - here is your chance to impress us all...

The names for 8 & 11 are great... 9 definitely needs work, although nothing springs to mind... and I think we could do better for 14 as well...

my 2 cents...

This thread lacks all the controversy I had hoped another round of hole naming would produce.

Here's my idea for 7:

Considering that we often share the air space with the softball guys and that Led Zeppelin references belong in most everything, I say we call seven In Through The Outfield.

Oasis of doom sucks my ass.

and I'm with Darc on 13 being called
"Little Prick"

While I'm on a rant, I would also like to say that I hate "Hells Plateau" as well.

My two cents.

chowder

Agreed. Oasis of Doom sucks Chowder's ass.

Let's call 11 Ass Chowder.

Okay, where the @$#^%&@ is the complete list of names?... someone care to post?

I still contend Oasis of Doom isn't bad... at least the Oasis part... Anything's better than Ass Chowder...

As you all know, 9 is flanked by that big row of pines that doubles as a grotto.

I say 9 is called Mister Row-Grotto.

Domo arigato Mister Row-Grotto.

Since many people who play the course have a natural pit stop at the Depanneur on Hole 14, why don't we name it something like:

Depanneur Alley

Although for some people, a similar name might be more appropriate if you're a fan of Roger Zelazny novels or if you remember George Peppard.

Why all this mention of Gavin??

For 13, "Little Prick", because it's a nasty short hole, loaded with thorns and nettles.

Is there something I missed??

Why all this talk of me? Probably 'cause I'm ripping up the Ottawa DG scene.

Who can stop me? I haven't lost a tags or Match game yet this season.
