As far as I have heard there are only two teams for the Plaid Jacket.

Who is looking for a team and are there other teams that haven't been announced?

Ken Darcovich and Bonnie Seshadri are playing with Grant Lawson.

Kevin Haggerty has a team:

TEAM NAME: CFBI

TEAM MEMBERS:
(1) Kevin Haggerty (Captain)
(2) John Kean
(3) Greg Herage

E-MAIL: kevh@nortelnetworks.com

Tom O'Brien is looking for a team:
tommyo@sympatico.ca. He is a new player in town, but seems quite keen.

I'll fill myself in at the last moment to any team still needing a third. I suspect that I'll hear of more confirmed teams within the next few days.

Claus was not available for Tree-oh, so our proposed third guy, Real Wheels has likely gone to his fallback team with Rod Nicholls and Peter McKinnon.

Don, perhaps you should prod these relics to ensure their attendance.

Also, I finally heard from Dean Manning. He injured his back playing hockey and won't be back to disc sports until next spring.

Unfortunately the Joint Sub Committee won't be there to defend our "best looking team" title.

Oh well, that title was self appointed anyhow.

Good luck to all on Saturday.

Well, the Joint Sub Committee will have a chance next season, when the Tree-Oh will be launched in prime-time June or July.

As for the event this year, the weather looks manageable, if not ideal for tomorrow.

According to the government weather web site and from what I've heard on the radio, we can expect warm weather with intermittent showers and light to mid wind conditions.

http://weather.ec.gc.ca/forecast/yow.html

Unless we get swamped with really heavy rain of a non-stop nature, the tournament is a go on the regular date and the regular time. Please bring raingear and we'll hope for the best.

I suspect we'll have to dash under cover a few times, but we should be able to get the rounds in.

See you tomorrow morning (or this afternoon, since I'm going to play a round with Peter McKinnon and Carlos Vidosa later on today).

The Recently Unemployed Piano Movers (or is that Team Sliceless?) will be there. If only to see how much the bonsai tree has grown.

Rob told me that he has it in his trunk now... so maybe it's shrunk!

I'm on my way to the course. Ciao!

I think it was Duke that killed it. He kept doing his thing over top of it, like a bitch I might add. Twirly you've got to teach him to pee like a man, man.
