to set the record straight on membership costs:

the ODGC has two types of membership: Lifetime for $120, or annual for $20

additionally, there are $20 annual dues. For families, annual dues are
capped at $40, so for 3 or more people, there is a benefit.

so, paying your way year by year, would be $40 payments.

If you go the lifetime route, it's $140 the first year, $20 each subsequent year
to maintain active member status.

These proceeds are used essentially to provide disc golf to the Ottawa area, there are maintenance costs for operating Kanata and Camp Fortune. The club also uses its funds to support events and disc golf related activities for the community and/or club members.

Thanks Ken! Iíll send those fees off for Steph and myself.

Pork butt has been marinating since Wednesday. Goes on the BBQ tonight after school. 4-5 hours

Note: I've purchased several pork butt** cuts over the last several years, at usually $13-19 lb, and sometimes special ordered from butchers because they don't stock em.

Went to T&T and got it for $3/lb. And they have many. Crazy. Plus T&T is such a fun place to go. Especially these days; Chinese New Year is the 16th. It's so much fun to bring the kids.

** Pork butt is actually a shoulder cut and is called many things from Boston Butt, Collar Butt; it's not the ass. That's a donkey.

Hey all,

PSA regarding membership fees at registration:

The Ice Bowl will charge a flat rate of $30 for registration and won't charge extra for non-members. I do not have the club tags ordered yet so it will give myself and you folks a grace period to sign up.

That being said memberships can still be sent the club email acct: odgctransactions@gmail.com
For those who have or will purchase an ODGC membership I will get you your tag asap as soon as I have them.

Thanks

If someone who isn't on the potluck list bring a bunch for everyone that would be ideal.

What a great day of golf!

This event, combined with this winter's Ice League rounds, raised over $2,200 for the Ottawa Food Bank!

Congratulations to the Champions!
