What can people say about this course? Want to do a quick jaunt out of the city next week and thought to check it out.

Anything is appreciated? Even things to do in area etc...

I really enjoy playing at this course. The two sets of 9 holes were put in a few years apart and the two sections of the course have a distinct feel from one another.

Their three longest holes are all within 110-115m, with the majority of them being reachable par-3s, with some tricky hairpin turns. The second half of the course has a few water holes, but getting your discs wet is rare.

There is a bit of a deadwalk from #9-10, so sometimes people like to play 1-9 twice, on their two sets of teepads before taking a snack break and then playing the same sort of teepads on #10-18.

The park rents cabins throughout the park that they call 'refuges'. They are pretty low-cost when going for a day or two on weekends, but you have to book them early. I'm staying in one on Friday night this week before their QDGT tour event on Saturday. Lots of fun playing night golf out there too!

This tournament is the least expensive of all the QDGT tournaments, and there is still room to get in. Registration for their tourney closes Wednesday.

Entry fee at the gate for access to the park is $6/adult.

Hope to see you out at the Challenge Belle-Rivière on Saturday.

Fun course. $6 a person is a great deal. 1 hour and 40 minutes from Walkley and 417.

You'll use a lot of discs if you play a short-long day.

Most holes are reachable off the tee. Maybe 3 that are a bit of pull to get it there. One par 4 (hole 15) that isn't huge, just very tough to get to the green in one (a roller may get you a stroke on the competition).

Beautiful park.

I played it on a Saturday. When we arrived holes 1-9 were FULL of golfers, so we skipped to the back side to start. Saw lots of players out there, but it wasn't crazy. Just really nice to see so many players.

There was a wedding going on the green of 15. There were fishermen/boys/girls on the pond between 11 and 12. Saw several people riding horses. Summer camp counsellors were in training. Families were on the participACTION equipment. There were about a million tadpoles in the pond behind 11's tee. Ben and I conquered the labyrinth between 16 and 17 without a glimpse of the minotaur. Caterpillars falling from the sky everywhere. Very well used and loved park.

There are several "dead walks", but they get you to a good place to launch discs, so all's good.

This is a no-fume course. Fuming is outlawed.
