I will be setting up nine baskets at VMP for an afternoon of Match play Disc Golf fun. The course will be open for play at 2pm and it will be playable until 9pm (lights and ribbons are a must). The snow is not very deep in the area we are playing but we will maximize the trails made by playing reverse order after the first round is complete. Parking is free and is in the large lot beside the park. We will be playing in the woods around the washroom facility (washrooms closed for season). Most holes will be short lengths with many, many trees in the way (make the gap to make your bird).
Rules; Each hole costs one quarter to play. If the hole is not won the pot is pushed to the next hole. Cash payout when a hole is won so no score keeping required. Bring a roll of quarters. We will try to form AM and Pro divisions to keep the play fair. If you just want to play without quarters, that is cool too.
My kids will be around (5 & 7 Yr old girls) 1-3pm so if you have kids, bring them along. Wives, neighbors and all cool people welcome. CAKE will be served at 2pm with a hot dog lunch. Serious competition will begin at 3pm. No smoking around kids or at headquarters.
My cell number is six one three eight five zero six five two nine if you are wondering where to find us.
Call to participants; If you can contribute to make this event the most it can be please PM me or text me your number. I hope to make a slide for the kids, shovel tee pads, bring in BBQ on sled and have warm liquid on hand. It would also be cool to have side games (snow guts?) if you have any equipment. I have a Can Jam kit so I expect this will be set up for play.
Please let me know if you can make it so I can make sure I have enough cake and goodies.
Also, if you can only make it for a short time, just show up with some quarters and jump in on a card. _________________ http://www.odgc.ca/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10254

Take the time if you can. With this new snow and rain crust, we are looking at an event here. I'll have your basket in the car. _________________ http://www.odgc.ca/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10254 |

I have made snowshoe trails all over the course so walking around will be a breeze. Kids should love the trails. Snow is not quite knee deep off trails but should be frozen after today. There will be slippery ice in places but not much on actual course.
Course set up 12-1pm.
Kiddie time 1-3pm. All kids (big and small) welcome.
Course opens for play whenever it is set up.
Skins sign-up at 245pm. Drop in on any card (within division) with a pocket of quarters if you can't make 245.
Competitive golf 3-6pm. Match play. Bring quarters.
Less competitive night golf 6 - 9pm.
If you are there at 9pm, take a basket or two to the car. _________________ http://www.odgc.ca/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10254 |

If all of the above wasn't enough excitement, I'll be heading out to the VM parking lots with 3 Daredevil Discs prototype drivers. (they are the same mold, I just have 3 of them)
I'll be there for 1 pm if you want to join me in finding out what they do in the air! |

Wicked contribution. Longest drive (or best shaped) drive with this disc receives a kiddie loot bag. _________________ http://www.odgc.ca/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10254 |
