Going to be around Carembeck Youth Center this Saturday to show some kids and families the basics at the new 3 basket beginner course that was successfully installed in Carleton Place!
Thanks to all who supported me through this process. Special Thanks to Ken Darcovich, Jeff Lariviere, Carl Visser and Jason King for providing encouragement, positive attitudes and the tools that made this possible.

You're allowed around children?
Just kidding. Great job getting some seeds in the ground for your community CM. It is awesome to see someone have an idea, run with it and bring the project to fruition. Big congratulations to YOU for leading this.

You should be speaking aloud while around children, or else they won't hear you. |

Most people don't know this about me, but I have been a camp counsellor my whole life. I have counselled children and adults with and without medical and physical disabilities. I used to manage a kids camp at my cottage during my summer months.
Kids gravitate to me, I have a theory because I am just a big kid myself!
Thanks for the kind words Briggsy, most of the disc golfing community, including yourself, played a role in this coming to fruition, so for that many thanks to you for being a friendly face along the journey.
Early afternoon appointment, then off to the Shire! _________________ Here's lookin' at you kid

I might come check this out. Coincidentally, I was planning on checking out Mississippi Lake for some fishing, which is also in CP. There's apparently some crazy Walleye in there. I hear it's better fishing than Dan Philips.
Anyone care to join me fishing? I have a canoe and a spot in it for you. |

It's a great bass lake too, I've pulled many 5lbs and over bucket mouth bass using top water lures in those lily pad bays. |
