Already the responsibilities of the Tyrant are spreading out nicely with guest IL TDs. This is way we see the entire winter season working in the future including the IB TDs.
The Tyrant and myself are working to bring a 14th Ice Bowl to Ottawa, and we'll be looking at doing some things differently than in the past.
Here are some things that we are looking for help:
- as the TDs of the event we are only interested in running the actual disc golf portion. Someone will need to take over the after party/Ice Auction portion if we feel this is something we want to continue in Ottawa. (Ice Bucks will have to be figured in to this as well)
- we also will not be running side events; putting, driving, etc. If this is something you'd like to take on, please post here.
- we are moving away from the high cost "official" Ice Bowl merchandise and discs, and looking at local options and partners. We will need an Ottawa Ice Bowl 2015 logo for our discs and (maybe) shirts. This is Ottawa's 14th Ice Bowl. 14 years of helping the hungry.
- there also isn't a IL/IB points system in the works, which will produce only a Ice Bowl Champ and not a season long champ.
As other things come up, we'll be looking for assistance. |

The tentative date for the 2015 Ottawa Ice Bowl is Saturday February 7th, 2015.
