Play baseball much? If so, left-handed back hand throwing is similar to a right-handed baseball swing. Just work on getting comfortable with the hip rotation and getting speed into the throw. The arm will be the slow part to come along so start the arm slow and build up speed as you get more comfortable.

Tossed a bunch of puts at my backyard basket. They're like flying wobblers currently grip feels so weird with left.

I went through this two years ago except going from Left to Right handed.

Step 1: ignore the footwork for a while. The x step won't really work until you get the rest of the throw stable.

Step 2: get a comfortable grip. Trying to hold the disc in the wrong hand is incredibly awkward.

Step 3: reach back and pull forward. Getting your hips to turn is the key here.

Step 4: let the magic happen. I'll be honest this step didn't really occur for me. I was a fairly good noob at this point but nowhere near I wanted to be.

I developed a nice right handed flick that I still don't have left handed.

Putting was the biggest difficulty for me. I used to be a great putter and counted it my strongest part of my game.

Putting is 90% mental the key is reducing your motions and just putting it on target.

Feel free to ask follow up questions. I'll be at rec league on Thursday if you want to talk about it in person.
