As team captain I am in charge of deciding who is on the roster and as the Pelican approaches all 8 spots have been accounted for. Last year team ADGM brought along a few substitute players to share in the experience (and perhaps gain some), certain players were used as substitutes and others followed the last groups along the course and played.
Team ODGC has always fielded a team of 8 players but this year I am putting an invitation out to join team ODGC as substitutes. I won't lie, there is a slim chance that any of our subs will compete but you will be practicing with the ADGM subs. Being a substitute shows you are interested and can potentially increase the chances of making future Pelican rosters.
There are 4 substitutes max per team and one spot has already been filled which leaves 3 so post here or pm me if you are interested.
The only requirement is that you are a current ODGC member and are available to play Saturday July 12th.

It's also worth going just to watch a lot of good players play good golf. _________________ "Terry believes in having a clear topic sentence."

8 regulars + 4 subs = 12 players for Team ODGC.
Go B Team!
We should ping the ADGM folks to see if we want a side bet/game/trophy for some sub on sub action. Maybe put some club swag on the line for heads up match play (e.g. an Ottawa player brings an ODGC disc they are putting on the line to play for an ADGM disc.) _________________ "Friends don't let friends putt like Ken Little."

Sure, I'll ask Mark D.
Careful boys. Not in the format.
but Friday night and Saturday night are wide open for anything.
A friday night "bring your other club" doubles partner could be fun.

What isn't? The sub on sub play, the friendly side betting or both?
