Here we go with the first of two bonus points events. Andros gets some much deserved time off and I get a turn at being tyrant.

We will be playing at Arnott Park which is near Fielding school:

The easiest place to park is in the school's parking lot but closer to the street than back field. It is a nine hole course played twice. I will be out there at 10:30 setting up. Registration will start at 11:30. Tee off at 12:00.

I'm going to head out there tonight for my walk. I think the snow hills are getting up there, and there's flurries in the forecast for every day up until Saturday.

Just a note regarding the bonus events in case some of you weren't aware;

Arnott Park will reward double participation points and JCP Triple crown will reward (you guessed it) TRIPLE! participation points.

These bonus points are special in that they stack on top of your best 6 events and always play a factor in the final standings.

It's snowy out at Arnott park. Make sure your discs have ribbon.

Hi Ben,

I plan to be there. Just an FYI that I could be last minute due to the fact I'm coming from far away and not sure of driving conditions.

11 people made it out to Arnott park. There was a lot of snow on the ground which made driving for distance difficult and a couple of snow hill greens made for some tricky putts. Standing drives was key so not surprisingly Eric and Aaron took the day with a solid score of 46.

Results:
Eric V. & Aaron J. 46
Serge S & Mike A. 49
Shane K. & Steve C. 49
Geoff P. & Jamie J. 50
Claus R. & Mike P. 52
Ben S. 55

Thanks to all who came out. Next week is the much anticipated return to JCP for the classic Triple Crown. Stay tuned for more Info.

Went back today with the kids and the snow mountains are now a range. The mountains start at 8's tee pad and continue the whole way to the green of 9, which has risen another 10 feet or so (see, the whole plate tectonic thing works at Arnott, but noooo, won't work for me at LNF).

Would have made for some even funner times out there (7s green rose about 3 feet, and 8s green would have been on the other side of a mountain or 10 feet up one).
