My disc went OVER the road. Not right. Not left. But straight and OVER the road.

The people complaining wanted to throw down the gravel parking lot. A much better choice, right?

If it was more open then likely, yes

Gravel only hurts with repetitive throws. One or two isn't going to harm premium plastic

Huge Huck BTW

Just stirring. This soup needed stirring

LOL.

Pretty bored doing spreadsheet work today. Thought I might spice things up and see if I can get BBP to blow.

I am the only one that complained and my complaint was then and there...never said anything about it since other than the location

Huot, Mark and myself wouldn't have thrown in the competition if the gravel road was used. So the complainer would have won. So yeah, it was the perfect place to have a longest "throw" competition.

Throw 3 of your discs down the gravel parking lot and then we'll talk.

Sounds like it, you wouldn't have lost your disc that's for sure

My last throw on the gravel would've been a roller big grin

You're right. I would have gone home earlier, too, and missed out on the excitement of seeing K-Kyle throw monster drives (who knew?).

Good thing it was the grass area, though, cause I certainly wouldn't have wanted to encourage the players without the premium plastic, and outside of the Open division, to throw their plastic on a gravel road. That would have been mean. Instead of me losing a disc (which I can easily replace), we would have essentially ruined others' only discs.

I can only imagine the complaints then...

Run an event with all the sideshows, then complain.

Kyle can throw monster drives. But can he find them?

And for those who think we limited it to just LNF9's fairway, the option to throw out to the parking lot was there.

Funny. No one took it.

It's funny because the person who was running the event was the person who suggested throwing from the other side...I am just the scape goat who has to take all the JAB's for it

laughing Point.

When the TD asked Ben and I for our opinion, weeks before, we suggested LNF 9's fairway. He thought that was "brilliant".

Well, if anything comes from this, we have some volunteers to run next years longest drive comp.

I walked in the door. Walked to the computer. Went to Ebay. Ordered a new Echo Wraith (to replace the biggest throw of the day) and two Laces.

Echo showed up last week. Works like it should.

The Laces showed up today. They both weigh the same, say "Lace" on both of them, but they couldn't be any more different from each other.

One seems to be slightly overstable, and fights the wind a bit, which is what I was looking for, while the other can't wait to get over on itself and start rolling. Honestly, these are two different discs.

fell in love last year with a rejected ESP Nuke compliments of Claus, which ended up in a pond in the finals of the '12 Plaid.

Bought the same disc (weight/plastic) this spring from Twirly, soooooo understable, it was useless. Out of frustration/desperation, bought a third disc, exactly same specs, generally good, but will not behave into a headwind. Man, oh man, these things are fussy...

Update (because you didn't ask): Ben-e's taking the understable Lace and the overstable Lace is going to the Ice Bowl Auction.
