Course is set up. I will have refreshments available tonight on course. I WILL NOT do the bbq thing tonight. I WILL coordinate a Milano order for golfers BEFORE the round. Order the pizza per slice sort of thing. Sheila will order it up while we're on course and have it in the oven for when we are done. No waiting around BS this time.

The pre-registering of pizza was a great idea. thumbsup

Question on the handicap application. We used 2/3 which is based on number of holes played where based on a percentage of par we actually played 43/69. Is there a precidence for how a handicap adjusted round should be applied? Not sure if this effects the outcomes in the results BUT I'd say and application as a percentage of the course par would be more appropriate as we played "less" of the harder holes and should have "less" of an adjustment for that.

My 2 cents.

There is precedence. We've done the same thing on other occasions when conditions forced shorter rounds.

Handicaps are based on an 18 hole round. We played 12. There's no need for greater complication than a 2/3 adjustment. As for scratch and slope: they work out the very same way they always do. Scratch will be low because that's what you were shooting for, and slope will be low as well, since the round of 12 has to be "stretched" to equal an 18 hole round.

Thanks for the reply. I may not agree, in that statistically there is a 4% variance compared to actual par, but respect that a presidence was previously established.
