There are a lot of top pro's leaving Discraft, Innova and Dynamic Discs this year. I think they are heading for something called the Prodigy Project, but not sure. The announcement is coming Jan 1st apparently.

There's no connection to disc golf on Google.

But you do get: http://www.discgolfreview.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=25414 whichs talks about a company called Disc Golf Prodigy.

I think part of this is Dynamic Disc is coming out with their own line of disc. I think latitude is making them for DD.

That's exactly what I was hoping for. A new disc manufacturer.

Stuff like this makes for more circulating money.

They're being offered something they can't refuse.

Now can you avoid paying for it, or will you even want to?

I'll be cynical and say it's a big m'eh.

Discraft, innova, latitude 64, it doesn't matter what you throw, as long as it can be thrown. *

The talent isn't in the disc.

* An optimtizer doesn't count as something that can be thrown.

No kidding. My discs are friggin' talentless.

My discs have lots of talent. Evasive maneuvers. Hide and seek. Some synchronized swimming on occasion. Mostly evasive maneuvers, though.

Because they're too busy missing baskets. I mean, come on. You can't miss everything.

So they've got this team, and they don't have any discs to throw. That's some good planning.

Limited releases and limited number, and they ask for your patience (read: they ask for your money for overvalued first run discs that haven't proven anything).

Just when you maybe thought something new and different was happening in DG, it's just better produced videos with Yoga music.

*sigh*

Oh well. I like their logo and simple named discs.
