Arnott Park

The home of the first run Ben-e and Geoff LNF (then called Club Night Finals), were Meldrum won his first LNF title after winning his second Plaid Jacket a month earlier (the ONLY player to win the Plaid and LNF in the same year).

This is the object course that was the idea behind what we played on October 11, 2003. My brother and I made it as a quick place to play DG if time was an issue.

One Ice League was run here last year as well. Gobbles, Svets and I were the only to show up in probably the worst weather ever.

Club Night Finals 2003
Arnott Park CNF 2003 distances (these aren't going to correspond exactly, but they're close--the 777 foot hole was at the time the longest any Ottawa player had ever played)

#8 was named after some girl my brother Chris had a thing for. Ryan and I named it after her because the island was "so hard to get on".

Some OB is over fences. Some is a cement path. Some are a parking lot. Some is a road. Snow is not the sole determinate of OB.

Some OB will be in play, some will not be. Come out on Saturday and find out which is which! thumbsup

So, let's say you can't see the path/road because of snow. And there's no fence to mark it. Still OB?

I'll prolly be there.

Any fence you go over with involve a 6 foot climb to get back your disc. I would consider that OB. But hey, you never know how Ben is feeling after the much revered OB ridden VM last weekend.

OB will be a game day decision depending on snow cover and the weather.

I remember that. You guys were about to leave then I showed up Wink ... I think we played 9 holes. Freezing rain, yuk! That was bad, it stung my facewhile it came down. It wasn't so bad until 'you' got in your car and the ice on your jacket melted and then you were we--et!

Correct, these bonus points are added on top of your best 6 events which
always add up in the final race for top 6 in the IL standings.
